Lookit the times the movies were made, people. Geez, cut them some slack! It was the late seventies, after all. Movies twenty years from now will put movies like TPM and The Matrix to shame. You can't criticize the quality of the movie based on today's standrards.

Yeah it amazing how far special effects and graphics have evolved in the last couple of decades. I wonder what someone comming out of a 25 year comma would think if they saw the Phantom Menace or Lord oif the Rings.

And dont forget that they all were using technologie that did not even excist yet... so what they had done deserves GREAT RESPECT. *All hail George Lucas and his Crew*

 

I think what they have done...... is SO good that they should get a reward for what they made so far.

and if you ask wich company makes the most spezial effects in other movies.... you wil come to a Lucas company: Industrial Light and Magic...... so again *All hail George Lucas and his Crew*

Also if you notice Darth Vader's tie, the controls look like a stereo control board of the time. It's pretty cheesy looking.
