Those screens are awesome!!!! LEC have really put some effort into the makeover! I'm damn impressed! :D That pulse gun (DEMP) looks like fun... I'm not too sure about a 'Swamp Troopers', though... but I guess I'll warm to them This gets better and better every day!!! :D Who else is pretty confident that JK2 _will_ be in the top 3 for GOTY 2002??? Since we'll be seeing 200 health, Im guessing there won't be bacta tanks, which is jsut as well since Bacta served in place of the role of picking up additional health points
Jimi-Wan Posted January 16, 2002 Posted January 16, 2002 Ill tell you what boys (and girls), that huge update we have been waiting for has come. Personally, I think it was well worth the wait. Heck dude, with this update, I would have waited until the game went gold. There is one problem with the update that Ill admit...... it is which wallpaper to use. Every single friggin one of them are too good to be true. Right now, I have the carving one. Deathbolt, I think that just may be the sniper rifle, could be wrong, but thats what it looks like to me. Waccy_Baccy, unless Unreal 2 and Duke Nukem Forever both come out this year, this will be the GOTY 2002 or atleast the runner-up from the looks of it. One thing that still boggles my mind, who are those other lightsaber weilding guys?
StormHammer Posted January 16, 2002 Posted January 16, 2002 This is an excellent update...lots of new stuff to chew on. Great job, Lucasarts...and you Raven devs have done yourselves proud. I really like that Swamp Trooper...great detail and design...and it confirms there will be swamp levels. That DEMP gun is going to be fun to use. The new concept art is really intriguing... ...from the Pod Ship to the guy in the Exo-Suit. I wonder where that lizard-like creature is going to appear. It looks like Yavin could be used for some training, too... Judging by the new screenshots, there is a nice size to some of those levels. Great stuff.

GonkH8er Posted January 16, 2002 Posted January 16, 2002 great stuff just reading through, his new ship is called the ravens claw (subtle guys........ very subtle ) by the way guys, that IS the sniper rifle. some of those screenshots are truly amazing. i cant wait to play some of tohse expansive night time city maps. i'm going to enjoy picking people off with that rifle and the best wallpaper there has got to be the 3rd one, with the scorch marks on the wall. incredible stuff new weapon- golan arms fc-1 looks like a strifle with 4 holes. interesting. oh and those other saber weilding guys are bots, or other players in a mp deathmatch. u can see some of those moves in those screens. one appears to being doing a sort of fly side kick. another is bringing his saber down like an axe. btw, that guy with the head hood looks a lot like uriel from q3a man, this is gonna go off

The page was a red color before with the graphic at the top a variation of the carbon freeze chamber screen shot... now its the standard LucasGames form purple and gold. Edit: And now its back to the original graphics.... I'll take that as a yes.
