txa1265 Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Sorry if I steal thunder from the site owners, but my latest F5 just popped this up http://www.fragoff.net/reviews/2/102-24-2132/p-4/index.php ... I haven't even read it yet. Mike
CaptainRAVE Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Thanks for that .........I enjoyed reading it.....someone better add it to the news page
txa1265 Posted February 4, 2002 Author Posted February 4, 2002 Just noticed a couple of things: - confirm no blood (good, I can show my kids ... unlike RtCW ;-) - NO editor *shipped* ... available post-release. Mike
Bartolo_JCS Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 - confirm no blood (good, I can show my kids ... unlike RtCW ;-) I played doom when I was Nine years old. bwaha
CaptainRAVE Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 I REALLY ENJOYED IT... <marquee>IT WAS GREAT</marquee>
Raze Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 I played doom when I was Nine years old. bwaha And now look how you turned out...
Wacky_Baccy Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 I don't recall seeing Boba Fett in multiplayer, no. That would have been fun... You haven't lived until you've seen a Storm trooper rounding the corner with light saber in hand. Scary. :D:D With the vast array of saber attacks, defenses, acrobatics and special features (backstabs, flip-attacks, saber-locking, etc.), I have to say that this game has the most movie-like light saber battles outside of the movies themselves. I hadn't seen the backstab () thing before... this game is quite simply going to ROCK!!! 20. What do you think the best feature of Jedi Knight II is? The light saber and everything that goes along with it. One word: Perfect! :D <marquee>Raven are the absolute best devs out there - I wish you weren't leaving, MRJ </marquee>
Kestral Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 The group has an overall morale that affects many aspects of both their individual AI (aim, whether to flee, etc.) and the group behavior (whether to advance, outflank or fall back). It's a difficult process because, if you make them too smart, they don't really seem like Storm troopers anymore.
Agen Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Boba Fett was the mandalor in MP? am i wrong? I palyed doom when i was =p
Sithcloak Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Good, theres no blood, but my mom won't like me playing it still. Sithcloak
Lord_FinnSon Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Yeah, another good interview, but as we draw closer to the end, not much new info that we wouldn't have heard already. At least finally we can leave those blood/editing-or-not discussions to rest. As a matter of fact I think we have already gone through ALL possible topics from clothes to music(okey, I have been keeping those threads alive, sorry ), so now we are simply recycling old topics again and again until actual game comes out. And after that? We either praise Raven for making so wonderful game OR wonder what went possibly wrong(and I do have a feeling that there will always be someone who thinks he/she was let down)...
TSM_FETT-fragof Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 hey, yeah wacky..i was alittle dissapointed when i read the boba fett thing...he was the only medel i used in jk but o well. im sure a fan made model will spring up soon after the release
Graphicsgod Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Yes nykel007. MODs is short for modification. And a little blood never hurt anybody . Remember SOF, that had a little blood in it .
Bio Warrior Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 that depends on what version of SOF you have... theres one version that was edited
Graphicsgod Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 No I have the good version . The coolest part about that game was shooting a guys leg off and watch him limp around till he died, very nice.
Obi Kwan Posted February 4, 2002 Posted February 4, 2002 Another good read; I was particularly interested in the multiple body forms for the characters; sounds excellent. I cant wait to read tomorrow's interview by our own inhouse administrators!
SlowbieOne Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 Looks like Raven and LA are sticking with the intial March release as opposed to the various April releases, good to hear.
Redwing Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 Originally posted by Wilhuf Spiffy. Looking forward to editing and mods. Same...I'll be the newbie though...having never edited before
Guest Sarcastic Saint Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 I dont want to get anybody's panties in a bind...but uhmm....many of the anwers...not all of them....seem to have been taken directly out of the "Jedi Knotes" and various interviews....seems a bit weird to me...
Ham Yoyo Posted February 5, 2002 Posted February 5, 2002 I was dissapointed to see that they ONLY said they the release date was March 2002. When I saw the link saying release date I was saying "YES, Finally! Only to be dissapointed.
