SyntheticGerbil Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 Bringing down the lowest mark of intelligence worldwide...
Katarn07 Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 I am trying to secure Sam n Max Hit the Road, but in the man time, I must say I would be most displeased if it were not released for PC...
Metallus Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 Eh? Welcome to the forum. This topic is ancient, and occured before we knew what actually was going on with future Sam and Max games. Originally, a new Sam and Max game was being made by a company called Infinite Machine, and was looking like a console-only release. However, the company went bankrupt, and LucasArts has announced a true sequel to their 1993 title Sam and Max Hit the Road. In the press release, they said explicitly that it was going to be out for Windows. Anyway, we'd rather you didn't dig up these old topics
SyntheticGerbil Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 I'm perfectly happy with it. It reminds me what a bunch of twits we were six monthes ago.
Katarn07 Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 I heard about a sequel from LEC, never read the press release, and I guess got a little confused. Thanks for clearing that up. Once I get Hit the Road and Surfin' the Highway, I think I'll be a bit more hyped up for the sequel...
YTtheMighty Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Dude, I was a dumbass, well, a dumber ass...
JBlink Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 It may be a few months later, but can I still get a snowcone?
Skinkie Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 I believe somewhere along the line the topic of ice cream came up....
YTtheMighty Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 oh yeah, ahem, i like ice cream, Rocky Road is my favorite...
theholyidiot Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 They should make ice-cream flavoured snow cones! Oh, wait. man, I really did reach a new level of stupidity there. Oh well. Don't really feel like iced food anyhow. Who's up for pie?
vegitablepulp Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 ok, though it may now have fromed a nice little protective barrier over it and is home to god knows what just waiting to plan an assult on all of civilization... IS THERE BY CHANCE ANY WAY OF GETTING THAT ICECREAM?
JBlink Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 Of course, but it involves presidential assasination and fuzzy slippers.
vegitablepulp Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 it depends on what kind of fuzzy slippers if the assassination involved a piece of foil, a coon skin hat, and 25 hundred irate sloths.
joesdomain Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 I will probably be first released 1st quarter 2004 on PC and Mac. Then maybe on X-box and Playstation 2 2 quarter 2004. Since originally it was a PC game
superdude201 Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 Hope its on pc and hope its still a 2d point and click because i thought the 2d monkey islands were better than the 3d one
SyntheticGerbil Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 Everyone's a god damn conservative these days.
James Isaac Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 In Lucas Art's press release, didn't they just mention PC. I don't think it will be coming out on anything else.
James Isaac Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 There is a poll for which platforms Sam and Max 2 should be on here
Jake Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 I'm going to close this thread I think. The person who started this thread was talking about the old original Sam & Max 2 that was being made by Infinite Machine. That version was going to be XBox only... Since then as we probably all know, LucasArts has taken up making Sam & Max 2, and they will be doing so on the PC as well as consoles (probably XBox and Playstation 2 only given their recent announcements). Any other off topic conversations that were going on in here can go move to their own new threads, yep.
