Big stars make money, and there's no way us lot between us could see the movie so many times, and buy so much merchandise that LucasFilm (or whoever) would make a profit. QueZTone Posted July 17, 2002 Share Posted July 17, 2002 Chris O Donnel's best acting was perhaps in Vertical Limit (2000) Other movies I like him in are Scent of a Woman (one of the best movies of all time?), Three Muskateers (he played his character best of all muskateer movies ive seen ever) and finally he did a perfect Robin in the two latest Batman movies. ill search a pic of him in muskateer outfit, the way he could go along as guybrush.. kng863 Posted July 17, 2002 Author Share Posted July 17, 2002 sorry if the selections for the poll weren't as great. i was just brainstorming some comedians which a broad number of common people may be familiar with. if you had a complaint, i asked if you had other suggestions and i got some good feedback. i know there are more actors perhaps that can be tailored to fit that piraty and frank Guybrush, but i didn't want to put names down cause maybe many people aren't familiar with those names. by the way, i think some SNL actors would be great for some roles. Because a lot of people say Guybrush should be young and slender, i think JIMMY FALLON could be a possibility. Horatio Sanz as Governor PHATT. -heh (know any other fat guys? But, in reality, he's really a common sense person trapped in worlds of strange peoples. Think about all the characters of the MI series and Guybrush is the most normal one. The real challenge is finding all those other weird unique characters to amplify the wholesome sensibility of Guybrush. MI has more chance of being a CGI movie than a real life film. Maybe if someone buys the set of "waterworld" for a buck and hires actors for pennies, then perhaps it might be the real deal.
