I'm stuck on Jerec (bought it a few weeks ago). I've only made him go recharge once and still didn't win even when I was stuck with him inside the spire.

I've heard of several tactics like putting seq charges on his route towards recharge tower and blocking him on his route because he won't attack you when he's limping towards the tower.

Mostly all I do is Circle Strafe him, do Special Saber attack and back away. The other bosses are relatively easy, though I had most trouble with Pic (smaller of the two sith bros).

Who thinks Maw looks FUGLY in the cutscenes?

-Spoiler!- I liked the end movie part where Kyle gives Jerec his lightsaber and they charge at each other. I don't understand why he had to vanish in a flash of light like Obi-wan and Yoda, though.

As for fav levels, the one where you had to get to the Crow (The old ship) in a freefalling transport cruiser was cool.

I didn't like the A.I. in it, though. They run, shoot, scream, that's about it.

And besides, I can't take my eyes off JkII anyway. :D

I'm also in the 'rarely' camp. It is interesting to me that Dark Force (enhanced resolution version on my Mac) has lost less of its' luster for me than JK1. It is clear why - the saber. For me, the bottom line is that JKII addressed all of the issues I had with saber battles in JK1. The ability (in JKII) to come out of a small hall in Cairn Reactor, being fired at from all sides, and just use the saber defense and patience and eventually take everyone out is spectacular. I started JK1 from a quicksave the other day, and I had my saber and was trying to block shots from 2 (yes 2) stormies with E11's - and taking damage!

Someone made a statement that I'm going to turn into a question - "Would JK1, given JK2's graphics and saber control, be a better game than JKII"?

My answer is no. I feel that a major basis of JK1 was the 'learning the force' part, with assigning stars and choosing your path. However, many of the force powers I thought were crap compared to JK2. Perhaps there would be a way to meld things ... but not so straightforward. The long, huge maps would be nice ...

Okay, I agree with you on the pentagon-heads and lightsabers so stiff you could shatter one just by whacking somebody, but that's not all there is to it. Think of when it was made.... 1997! And here you are comparing it to Jk II-2002. That's pretty good for a game five years ago.

MOTS was fun, too, though I was disappointed at the 3d-rendered cinematics.
