elTee
Did you see the part about needing lorries to transport them all? Its ridiculous, you could buy a bloody GAME store for that much.
Nightcrawler187
i just can't believe how much they want i think they've gone a bit mad!
elTee
No-one would ever buy that unless they were really rich. Bill Gates rich. I mean, $250,000?? They're only games. I mean, people only really get them for fun.
QueZTone
ive bought games from Eli before. He told me he got the games from a storage house he had. I had no idea that storage area was that big
Scummbuddy
Hmm, and no one's even started the bid yet.
elTee
If anyone does it'll be some museum or something. But he says there are 250, 000 games. He's a fool. Sell the rare ones (LEC / Sierra first editions) for more, then sell the cruddy ones in bulk.
scabb
250,000 games for $250,000....That's...wait...$1 a game! Some suit who used to type in hours of code in order to play for 5 minutes due to unfortunate power cuts >:] Will buy them. I'd buy it them if I was hideously rich. It's just too HARD to be hideous with a face like this

mercatfat
Look closer. 250,000 games with 20,000 unique titles. That's terrible.

Alien426
"50% is pre-1990. 49% is 1990-1993" Come on. Even half of 20,000 games is 10,000 games in 3-4 years. 6.85 games a day being released in a time that saw some very good titles. But, come on, it was also a time when only like one out of ten people had a computer (maybe more, dunno). 80% of the software are games? A big piece must be shareware. Wizball
oh and don't forget this: "- Some recent winning auction prices: Starflight ($45), Hollywood Hijinx ($56), Zork I ($71), Leisure Suit Larry I ($122.50), Welltris ($62.50)." Whoever did pay $122.50 for Larry I is a complete retard unless of course it has been signed by Al Lowe etc. You can get the first version with the napkin for like $20-30. I had nice deals with elit aswell. I guess he/she wants to get rid of it all in one go. Selling them individually is a BIG hassle...
elTee
I decided not to bother getting all the sierra games in original boxes. I don't like them all that much, and there are too many of them. I got the collection packs though. I just need the Roberta Williams collection, somehow. Alien426
Well, everybody, you may get another chance to grab some of the games, since the auction closed with 0 bids. I was a so very amazed no one would buy it. It's a steal for only 250 grand...
