Snowtrooper Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 Now that majority has seen Star Wars Episodes 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, I just wanted to find out which is your favourite Episode or which Episode do you hate the most and why... Personally... I luv all the Star Wars movies and I decided to rank my favourite Episodes in numerical order: [ 1st ] = Return of The Jedi -> The entire movie was exciting [ 2nd ] = The Empire Strikes Back [ 3rd ] = Attack of the Clones -> Clone troopers look damn cool... but the time when Anakin was with Amidala was damn boring [ 4th ] = A New Hope -> Plenty of blaster actions but little lightsaber action... [ 5th ] = The Phantom Menace -> Darth Maul and his cool looking double lightsaber was the only thing that interested me... The time on Tatooine was ultra boring... Can't wait for Episode 3... CRaZy doG Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 1) RotJ: Ewoks, more Rebel military stuff 2) TESB: Cool, way better special effects than ANH 3) AoTC: BIG battle, Yoda in a lightsabre duel. Along with ANH, probably the only SW film with blood. 4) TPM: Darth Mual, Gungans (I'm one of the few who like them:) ), Queen Amidala! 5) ANH: Cantina aliens, tons of blaster action. Young David Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 1 - The Empire Strikes Back Imperial march, (Super) Star Destroyers, Yoda, Battle of Hoth, Dual with Vader / Luke, the truth about Luke's father (I won't give away the big spoiler here) 2 - Return of the Jedi Large scale battle of Endor (Surface, Space, personal lightsaber battle), Ewoks, Jabba, Funky outfit Leia 3 - Attack of the Clones The romance, the battles, great Hayden performance, good looking Padme, the darkside I sense in this one 4 - The Phantom Menace Return of the biggest saga, my introduction to Natalie Portman, fast paced lightsaberbattle, pod race 5 - A New Hope The one that started it all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rogue15 Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 Attack of the Clones -Awesome battle, i liked the love story The Phantom Menace -Best saber fight ever Empire Strikes Back -I liked Hoth, and all those Star Destroyers Return of the Jedi -Liked seeing Jabba's Palace and Luke learning the ways of the force A New Hope -Lots of Stormtroopers, cool battle at the end. Tie Guy Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 1. AOTC - Best Action, best special effects, great story, its all good 2. ESB - Hoth Battle, Luke's Training, Yoda, nuff said. 3. TPM - Great Saber Fights, great light fights, podrace, etc. 4. ROTJ - Nice Space Battle, good ground battle, epic (though not most exciting) saber fight 5. Well, I think they're close. ESB absolutely defines Star Wars for me and both AoTC and RotJ do great jobs to live to the standard that ESB set. It stated that there would be nine parts to the Star Wars saga with Episodes 4, 5 and 6 already released and Episodes 1, 2 and 3 being produced... Just wanted to find out... IS THIS TRUE??? WILL THERE REALLY BE EPISODES 7, 8 AND 9??? I certainly hope so... always wanted to see Yuuzhan Vong in action... Please reply if you do have any info on it... I am dying to know!! mswanmmiv Posted November 17, 2002 Share Posted November 17, 2002 1--ROTJ: It was simply the best! 2--ANH: Luke was whiny, but I could still watch it 24/7 3--AOTC & ESB: Much action in both, great lightsaber duels in both; AOTC would have placed higher but it was lacking somethng essential to a good SW movie.... 5--PM: Whiny kid, Gungans, Qui-Gon dies, heck, the only thing worthwhile were the destroyer droids BTW, if 7, 8, and 9 do happen the Admiral Thrawn series would be the best!!! RotJ- Lightsabers, blue lightning, and Ewoks beating up stormtroopers. ANH- X-wings, Death Stars, and the "beginning" to a great movie series. TPM- Although most people didn't like it, I think it's just awesome. 3. AOTC- Great.. it lacked something though.... I don't know what... it could've been the best of all six 4. AOTC- Who likes friggin awesome Jedi battles with cool looking effects? Ferg does. 3. ANH- Who likes a kewl space battle and some Super Solo? Ferg does. 4. Empire Strikes Back- Who likes some awesome friggin walkers going in and killin up a bunch of entrenched Rebel dudes? Ferg does. 5. A bit chilly at some points, and I loved the part where Vader confesses he's Luke's father (that was spoiled for me before the movie, though, but I think I can see all the gaping people in the audience at the day of the premiere ). 2. ANH -The Death Star thing was brilliant, and the whole concept of mixing a fantasy adventure with a pirate, princess, knight, magic.. all that into a science fiction movie is BRILLIANT. Why do I put this here? Because ANH was really the only movie that I thinkl could be called an adventure movie. A bit too rambo-ish at points, though . 3. ROTJ -The thing with the Ewoks was a bit silly. 4. Ep1 -Podrace was cool at the movie screen and the Duel of the Fates and TF themes were cool, but that's about it for it. Didn't see Ep2.
