Dark Warrior
Maybe everyone knows this but I just read on http://www.ninjaturtles.com that a new TMNT show is coming in February of 2003. Yes, I am probably stupid for liking that show but in the favourite cancelled tv shows thread I said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and many people responded talking about it. What I want to know is who liked it and watched it when they were kids. And if so, are you interested all these years later about the new one even though it is aimed at younger kids. BTW: Please do not post and say "TMNT is gay!!!" or "Dark Warrior, your so immature". I just want to know if anyone watched it as a kid because for me, that show brings back many memories. obi
Dark warrior, TMNT is gay and you are immature. (joke, read his post before you throw things at me) I used to LOVE TMNT. I have all the movies on VHS, and some of the shows. I think a good bit of us where fans of the show at the time.

Not now, but even though I'm too old for it, I am still gonna check the new one out and see if it is as good as the classics were.

BigTeddyPaul
I remember when I lived in Wales there was no such thing as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Then the last day before I left it came on the teley. It was called Teenage Mutant Samurai Turtles though because my father told me that the Brittish thought that Ninjas were viewed as evil people and Samurai were the good fighters. It started becoming stupid when Burger King sold the VHS episodes. I still have one of them. My favorite guy is still Michellangello. The TMNT series was cancelled a while back but visit http://www.ninjaturtles.com. Click on the television shows link and click the sneak peek under the TMNT logo. It announces that a new TMNT series is coming in February of 2003. Scroll around the site and look at character profiles. It gives hints on the new story. Jedi_Monk
I've still got a bunch of the toys boxed up in the basement... I wonder if this new series will make them worth more? Anyway... the first movie was excellent; I'll still watch it. I have one of the episodes they sold at BK, too... "Watch the birdies! The birds are above the pull of gravity!" And Donatello was supposed to be the smart one Anyway, my favorite turtle was Michelangelo... who is also my favorite renaissance artist, as well
Dark Warrior
My favorite turtle was Donatello. That stick/staff he wielded was too cool. But I mostly liked them all, because of all their unique personalities, no 2 turtles were similar. Ad for the toys, I have alot of them from back in the day. Maybe they will become collectibles when the new series comes out. I have the action figures. They each have their signature weapons, and most importantly, when I can move their arms and legs to make it look like they are real. Those were the days. Ratmjedi
They better make the show good. They already tried to make it but with costumes instead of being drawn. My favorite was Michalangelo. He was the coolest.

I hope they keep it true to the original because imo it was perfect that way. If they try to add a bunch of crap it proably will suck. And I hope they make a good plot like the original. Darth Simpson
Raphael is the coolest, absolutely no contest. I got a bunch of toys in a box somewhere too, as well as all the live-action movies. I love TMNT. I thought the CG movie was still on, based on the original japanese cartoon, and directed by John Woo. Has it been cancelled?
Jedi_Monk
I can't remember who was who though...... Ahem... Leonardo: Blue mask, uses katanas (swords); Raphael: Red mast, uses sias (daggers); Michelangelo: Orange mask, uses nunchucks (sweeeeet ); Donatello: Purple mask, uses a bo (staff). Did anybody else here see the Ninja Turtles live in concert when they were kids? Great show that was... they also had some pretty good songs

Darth Simpson
Hell yeah! I played the crap out of TNMT II on NES. Number 3 was great as well, but II just kicked ass! I had Turtles in Time and Turtles Tournament Fighters for SNES as well. I think I beat Turtles in Time in about 20 minutes after getting a bit of practice in. Not exactly the hardest game ever, but damn fun!
Toonces
The TMNT games on the nes were great. The first one was a little strange but I still enjoyed it. II was the best by far I grew up on TMNT, great cartoon
Darth Homer
I watched TMNT when I was young, but I didn't really enjoy it as much as other shows...my favs as kid were Transformers and He-Man....I dislike the new batch of these shows Transformers is just stupid...at least the story behind He-man is staying the same, but it's just not the same show p.s. I'm collecting all of the old Transformers series in the box-set DVDs, so many memories

They could keep the gameplay the same as TMNT II and just update the graphics and add some new features. That would be awesome!
