Darklighter
Hell yeah!:DFF8 is my favourite Final Fantasy game of all time. The story, the characters, the gameplay, the graphics, it truly was an amazing game when it was released, and still is, though the graphics are a little outdated. I love the seamless integration between normal gameplay and CGI cutscenes. Plus squall is just damn cool:D
Breton
Final Fantasy 8. It is the only FF game I have played , but it is also one of the computer games I have played most. The gameplay is simply amazing, and so is the story, also, the game is really huge, it can take a hundred hours to get through it, and all of them are really fun. The only problem is that it is a bit playstation-like, but still a really great game.
Junior™
Final Fantasy 7 It simply had it where it counts....also the fun.
Tyrion
It would've been a tie between FF7 and FFT, but since FFT isnt on there I'll vote FF7.
nova_wolf
FFVII (Such a purist, I refuse to use numbers over numerals) - it has been voted the best game PERIOD ever so amy times. Best RPG, story, game system, extras (relevant or for fun), characters. sound track (NoBuo Uemtasu is a GOD on par w/ John Williams (SW) and John Barry (Bond themes pre-Brosnan). I have answered this one aot on FFAlpha (a few years ago though) and I can ALWAYS win... It is not just the graphics. compared to the original 3 that were pre-PSX, it is still the best. Plot twists, how it sucks you in an plays with your emotions. The use of the music - Aeris theme being played thorough the Jenova fight directly after THAT event (I respect the game to much tI refuse to even post it as a spoiler). Sephiroth - you see why is it like that, and begin to smypathise - then THAT event, and your THERE, w/ Cloud and co, grieveing, and readying yourself for the fight of your life from then on! 3 times i ahev played, and yet i am always going back to it. I have never found a game quite like it - and never will if Squaresoft kweep this up.. (X2 - come on - direct sequals is against all they stood for! Effing Microsoft - one more reason to detest that snively little **** gates! (admins - sorry - but you try and speak of him nicely w/out such language!)) Redo do FFVIII w/ new graphics, and use the orchestral, not midi, for the soundtrack - but no sequals and NO screwing w/ anything other than renaming the materia levels (Fire2 to Fira, Bolt3 to Thundaga etc - fair enough - was a translation screw up to begin w/) if anyone REALLY wants a figght over this - I am UP for one.... FFVII is the greatest game in history. PERIOD.

lllKyNeSlll
ffvii. the storyline beats pretty much all final fantasy's although they used a novel's story
Dark Warrior
FF7 without a doubt. Most compelling story I have ever played in a game, and has good replay value. Sephiroth is just too cool.
git_sum_stuka
I like FF7 cause it has the gold saucer and some nice music to it. I played it 4 times lol
Mandalorian54
the only final fantasy game I like is the one on nes. a true clasic. I hate all other final fantasy games. but x was okay. Final fantasy is for nerds. no cool person can stand them. bite me! the games requires no skill, a seven year old could beat them(not x though. which is an improvement) you guys should try some games that require skill, like first person shooters. well I'm sure you do like first person shooters and other games too, and some of you at least are not nerds. But my brother for example mostly only likes rpg's, he should have been born in japan. hope I make you mad:p
-s/<itzo-
i'm not a fan of FF but if i had to pick, my vote goes to FF7. i think it was better than the rest gameplay wise.

Rogue Nine
I've just beaten FFX, owning Yu Yevon in two hits. Right now my favorite FF.
Hekx
I haven't played any of them, I've seen FF7 in action, and kinda played that for about 5 minutes So I think'll go with FF7 unless I can remember which FF the little jawa dude came from (I think it's FF9) [Edit] Yup, 'Black Mage' FF9. It get's my vote [/Edit]
Hyperglide
I own all of them. Of all of them I can't remember having any more fun then playing Final Fantasy 10, since I played FF3/VI. The sphere system was wierd at first quite an adaption it is. But once u get used to it its great, and truely makes your characters varied. Where's the option's for Final Fantasy Tactic's and Final Fantasy 2/IV?? Tactics is a hella great game to best original soundtrack for a video game ever IMHO, just ahead of Castlevania:SOTN. And a seven year old can easily get through a FPS. you guys should try some games that require skill, like first person shooters. haha good 1. FPS are nothing more than instantly running around and pressing the fire button when you see anything that moves. Real Time Strategy takes skill. First Person Shooters do not. GonkH8er
FF III (I think) and FF VII personally, I liked the movie much more than any of the games
lllKyNeSlll
fps's take alot of skill dude, play ut in an elite room and see if u can get a single kill. but final fantasy can be beaten by a really smart 7 year old. however, most ppl just beat it with guides. if there were no guides it would be alot harder. i beat 7 without a guide and 8. but then i realized i missed some stuff, like final attack and those mini quests in 8. but i had perfect stats with devour so it don't matter. if u wanna beat the omega weap, dude its so easy with hero and holy wars which cause invuln. but if u go old school and sac ur gf to stay alive, its hard. so ff7 vs the ruby and emeralb take some quick thinking. esp if u play active instead of wait or recommend. 9 was gay. and 10 was good.
