EYes quickly turn to the disturbance, only to see the largest of all Imperial warships, an Eclipse class Star Destroyer.* Admiral Karrak: This is Admiral Karrak of the Devastator. Grand Admiral, you orders? *In bewilderment, Tojo is silenced for a second, then snapps out of awe.* Tojo:Start shooting down those asteroids! Make sure none get to Coruscant! Admiral Karrak: As you wish. *He turns off the com* Captain, fire turbolaser batteries, bring down those asteroids. Shields up. *The mighty warships unleashes a salvo, perfectly aimed at the asteroids, obliterating them.* Unknown *Cracken, now frustrated beyond all belief, strikes at the girl, cutting through her neck. He then uses the same arm to create force lightning on the two flying sabers, to throw them off course. ((Countdown cancelled.)) *Flax takes his fighter to the edge of the engagement and lands, he strips off his flight gear and pulls on a loose tunic, (he kept his trousers on, just incase you were wondering.) Then Flax address the assembled Army, bolstered by Republic troops and a contingent of Wookies.* Flax: We must end this dark tide, we must kill them all, nothing must remain. *The 150 Jedi of the New Republic lead the charge at the Demon Army. Flax cuts through Vampires with his saber, deftly using it one handed with the graceful motions of a master swordsman. Admiral Karrak: Launch starfighters. see what they can do. they are not to enter the atmosphere, it's far to dangerous. *The captain nods, and give sthe order. from the massive underbelly of teh starship, scores of fighter squadrons launch, like bees from a hornets nest. Your time's up already. *Gilian clears the room with one leap, bringing her arm blade down at Kvana's head. The blade rebounds off an invisible wall surrounding the vampire. Gilian lands opposite, startled* Kvana: And here, we have something quite interesting...a vampire, with a soul? ---------- *The girl stands behind Cracken, completely unharmed* Girl: *shaking her head* In a situation like nothing you could understand, and yet you still depend on the things you know. Why? *She stops and tilts her head* Something's about to happen, Cracken. I can hear it whistling in the winds. You won't be able to stop it...but I think you'd want to at least see it... *She cups her hands to her mouth and speaks loudly* Wake up! *The world dissolves into white, then resolves itself into the interior of a high hotel room. Through the window, Kvana's tower looms above Coruscant's spires, glowing darkly and eerily. A meteroric rain of fire fills the sky* ---------- *Rwos goes flying through a building wall, hit by the golem's fist. Roaring, it looms above him...then stops, distracted by the Jedi and the NR forces. It turns in their direction, bellowing. Her nightmares are increasing. Odin: What are they about? Skadi: I'm not sure. At first I thought it was the Jotuns however, when I asked her it had nothing to do with them. TacOps:Aye sir! *As the Titan continues a losing battle to save herself, Tojo turns to Starr* My lord, I advise we relocate the command and yourself to the Devastator. You'll be safer there. Devastator Sensors:Sir, detecting a weather anomoly near the spire. it might be another kind of "Force"power. ((OOS: Karraks crew doesn't know the Vampires are using magic)) Comm:Admiral, suggest we offer our transports to evactuate civilians and government officals off of the Imperial Center. Karrak: go ahead. Comm:New Republic, this is the Imperial warship Devastator, do you wish for us to recieve transports of government officials and and launch transport to rescue civilians, with escorts? Karrak: Why is the Titan's shield failing, and asteroids continuing to make contact with the surface!? TacOps:There are just too many! *Karrak slams his fist on the armrest of his command chair* THEN FIRE FASTER! Coruscant *Cracken watches in amazement. he can sense Starr, and his son...but his sons' force signature was in two differnt places. Meteors fall to the planet, with turbolaser fire trailing him. He can sense the Devastator, finally complete after a hurried secret construction order was given to Kuat after it's return to the Empire. He also notices a large area of the Force, near the spire which loomed over all of Coruscant, which was void of any reading, but great activity. He could feel Jedi there, in heated combat, alongside regular Army soldiers, but couldn't tell what they were fighting. Cracken extinguishes his lightsaber, and turns to the girl* Cracken: What power is that? how can they create meteors and direct them? only the greatest and oldest of Sith Lords could THINK about doing that, and even then it was out of thier reach!!!
