Kylilin Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 I am wacked out of my skull, as I;m sure that everyone else is, but I just wanted to say happy new year to everyone!!!
Tyrion Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 Happy new years! So what are your new year resolutions? Mine is to eat less sugar. Yeah, big, isnt it?
Mex Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 Happy new year! My new years resolution is to kill the borg!
Kylilin Posted January 1, 2003 Author Posted January 1, 2003 I've never in my life made a New Year's resolution, I don't mean to start either because I know I'll never keep it.
Rogue15 Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 I plan to learn to drive my car and get a higher status in life. i will beat it!!!
edlib Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 I plan on making an attempt at keeping last year's broken resolution... which was "to never make New Year's resolutions I know I won't keep." Oh,.. damn.
Gold leader Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 For the thirteenth time in a row, my New Year's Resolution will be to attempt stop biting my nails. BTW, in case you haven't noticed, I've updated my sig.

edlib Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 Actually, one of my REAL New Year's resolutions is already done: I made the move to WinXP Pro yesterday. Hopefully now I can spend more time getting work done on my PC than WORKING on my PC.
Jabba The Hunt Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 Ok its a bit late, but I've always been slow and I was far to busy on new years day to visit here. But happy new year anyway. My new year resolution is to loose weight and I've already eaten far too much
edlib Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 No, just big-boned. Seriously,.. just cut out all the between-meal smorgasbords and you'll slim away in no time.
Keyan Farlander Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Right...but without doubling the size of the meals.
Tierce Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 I always liked the "order a diet coke along with the biggy sized extra value meal" technique, people tell me that that slims you down faster than lipo.

When I was working at Wendy's, I saw that technique in action numerous times...
Rogue Nine Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Diet stuff tastes like crap. Whatever it is, it tastes like crap. So why spoil a perfectly good Biggie size meal with Diet Coke? Blegh.
Nitro Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 Funny you mention that... What makes the diet taste weird is the aspartame(sp?), a man-made chemical, proven harmful to children and adolecents. So, recently they came up with a way to get rid of that taste... Another man-made chemical, that, while still under testing, is believed to be worse for your kids then aspartame is. I love it!
Zargon Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 with diet pepsi atleast I figured it was the NUTRA-SWEET, I dunno what they use in diet coke, man made sugar replacements taste funny, very very fake sweet honestly tho, however rediculous, that diet coke substituition saves them probably 600 calories, however the only good empty ones they are getting in the meal instead of fat ones
Gold leader Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 Coke is bad for you. Not only because of the calories, but your enamel dissolves in the acid. You'd better drink beer. Contains more vitamin B too.
