'Ha, hmm, my friends, let us go for a walk!' he said. 'I am Bregalad, that is Quickbeam in your language.....At nightfall he brought them to his ent-house

From the book

Although they do not go with Quickbeam until after the part where treebeard tells them that they have decided that Merry and Pippen are not orcs. Then treebeard tells them it could very well take days more until they are done, so they go with quickbeam. Quickbeam is my favorite.

My favourite is probably Aulë, Vala and creator of dwarfes, or it may be Oromë, also a Vala, rider and huntsman and famed for ride through Middle-Earth and slaying countless numbers of Melkor's foul creators, and he was also the first one of the Valar who discovered the elves.

Ungoliant who was the great spider that destroyed the Trees of the Valinor with Melkor... This tale is found in "The Silmarillion"

She is cool too, definetly one of the most evilest things ever in Middle Earth, right below Morgroth (AKA Melkor)

The Mair (spelling). Gandalf belongs in there

The correct spelling is Maiar or Maia

Is there a guide to Middle Earth with all the creatures drawn, named, and their origins explained? Cause that would be sweet if they did have that.

Check this website it shows the artists interpurtation of characters and animals from M-E and on the side gives you info about the animal or person. Not all of the Characters and animals are described but there is alot though

ThereandBackagain

Why didnt anyone say Gandalf? Arent Wizards a different race than men? I think they are. Dont know why though.

Gandalf was once a High Maiar (his name then was Olorin) of the Vala Manwe (Lord of the Vala), and was sent down, with four other Maia (who like gandalf become Istari or Wizards) to defeat Sauron, and when he was sent down he was in the likeness of a man but he could live forever, and he's still a Maiar but not as powerful as he was before.
