The most weridest movies.

I have to agree with -s/<itzo- now. I just saw Donnie Darko last night on DVD, and I have to say, it was one of the best films I'd ever seen. Really, really brilliant, in my eyes anyway. It was funny, mysterious, scary, wierd, and the ending just completely baffled me. Though, I love films that really make you think and question what you're seeing (Fight Club pulled this off too).

Anyways, Donnie Darko in a nutshell - odd, but brill:thumbsup:

i love eastenders, i watch it all the time :D

it wouldn't be a soap opera if the acting wasn't bad :p

you know what i hate..... jeepers creepers, man! i hated that film, so much i wanted to rip one of my arms off and throw it at the TV

i can't believe that the man who brought us the godfather trilogy actually attached his name to it.

Fight Club

Sphere

Event Horizon

Existenz

Total Recall

Wierd - why?

They screw with your head.

Total Recall & Existenz its the whole - are we back in reality yet?

Sphere & Event Horizon is leading you towards it being some form of evil bastard alien life form, but it isn't. It is far more mind bending than taht - a live ship, a human causing everything, subconscious made flesh.

And fight Club - serious next-level multi-personailty **** hitting the fan there!

I did like eXistenZ cos it was strange and puzzling, and you had to think a lot about what was going on, the whole 'dream-like' effect did work well, but I thought it was a little over-ambitious. Not one I'd watch again in a hurry. Blade Runner was pretty wierd too. I liked how they ended it with a mystery, so you could personally think of your own perception of the ending. Was Ford a replicant, or wasn't he? Those sorts of endings are good, because it makes the film less linear. The director isn't doing all the work for you:p
