Charybdis Posted January 31, 2003 Share Posted January 31, 2003 Currently putting together an article for a UK gaming mag, which involves some...ah...moderately esoteric stuff. Hence this odd question - does anybody here know of a site with Monkey Island themed cosplay (as in people dressed up as the characters for fun). I've had a look around the Internet, but aside from a few people saying that they were thinking about doing it sometime, I couldn't find anyone who actually seemed to have taken the plunge, so to speak. Yes, it's a very bizarre query, but if by any chance you know of any, could you drop me a line at richard.cobbett@futurenet.co.uk? Ta muchly. Seen a few in the past ;-) The only downside is that I don't have the pictures, and would very much like to get my hands on a couple. In case anyone is wavering over confessing to having such snaps lying around, it's not for anything nasty - think of it as a chance to display your fandom to the UK, with only a little light ribbing maybe thrown in for free*. Now how could you resist that? (* A promise not necessarily handed out to any images that I happen to find on my own wanderings. This is a pretty creepy topic cuz I atcually dressed up as Guybrsuh last summer I'm very alike him(really) if you are comparing him in the ending scene in SOMI. I have this long blond hair and that goofy look =) I had a white shirt and skatershorts and of course a sword =) My buddy said that I should I have taken a photo but I thought it was to embarrasing.
