Death Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 Hey there, I got all excited cause I got "Shadow Puppets" and I was wondering what you guys like to read. I LOVE Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game, Speaker of the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind, Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hedgemon and Shadow Puppets) and I'm very fond of the Vampire Chronicles as well. I'm always looking for more books to read! So why don't you guys give me more names of good books! Thankies

Jedi Skywalker Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 I love the books of J.R.R. Tolkien (I've always loved them also the Silmarillion). I like to read the books about Star Wars, and other fantasy and fiction. I also like the Clan of the Cave Bear from Jane M. Auel. Not something that averybody would read.
Wraith 8 Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 well as a kid... i read: de kleine kapitein translated that is: the little captain. it was about this boy who was a captain of a small boat and all he wanted was to be a grown up. he travelled the world with his 2 friends. I think they were 3 books or so. I read them over and over. I loved Jurassic park...... even better then the movie. It was a bit technical at times tho. well.. right now its the Wraith Squadron X-wing books.... loads of humor, excitment, grief and action.
Death Posted February 7, 2003 Author Posted February 7, 2003 Hmm....a lot of you are saying LotR and I must say...I've read all three books and am currently working on Silmarillion but I'm not that fond of his writing style. I dunno, maybe I was spoiled the movies. I'll go check out I, Jedi at some point. THANX!
