Also notice that it is a big pop-up. I guess they want to remind you how annoying large pop-ups are, so you'll get their product. Personally, it just make me want to go get somebody else's pop-up blocker to block their pop-up about the pop-up blocker. (which is exactly what I did :) )

I don't why you find that Ironic because there are quiet a few smokers that I can name of the top of my head.

But I do find it Ironic about the pop up elimanators. The thing that I hate are all those ads that take a while to load and that it make it slower for you to see the page. It's like "I don't want to hear about some guy becoming debt free". I also find it funny cause the majority of us are intelligient and know better than to trust something that pops up or some crappy product. That is what I find funny cause we should know better.

"Don'tcha think...?

It's like raaaaaaiiiin on your wedding day,

It's a free riiiiiiide when you've already paid,

It's the good advice you just didn't take,

And who would've thought, it figures?"

well, it occurs to me that everything in that song, Nine, is actually just unfortunate, not ironic....

example of irony:

:o -- "I'll never get hit by a bus!"

*steps out & gets hit by a bus*

Irony is when a 40-yr old, life-long health nut dies of a massive heart attack while jogging.

Actually, Homer, the line "it's like a free ride when you've already paid" is actually quite ironic, but that's really the only one, the rest is, as you said, just unfortunate. :D

or not...but that's okay. Really though...if you want to unearth Ad troubles just dig through this forum. We've got at least 20 threads on evil ads (probably more)

Isn't it Ironic that I'm about to post another one like the one I already, that just like the original thread was ignored. :indif:

Isn't it Ironic? that I'm saying isn't this ironic due to the fact, that I already got the measage across in the first paragraph. So if I had just posted the " I'm being ignored" post here it would seem stupid so instead of sounding really whiny (so no one would say "want some cheese with that WHINE") I decided to not end the post "..." but like this ". THis is the end that was a period signifying the end yet you contijue to read" So here it goes

. This is the end that was a period signifying the end yet you continue to read. That too was a period so I guess that was the end too. Wait there was the end again, Oh well. (wait another end)

No... Irony is your girlfriend saying, "I love you," before she goes out to make the beast with two backs with your best friend.
