Tie Guy
Well, i just want to say i think that everyone who is against this and the war is being a hypocrite about it. Sure, you can protest on these boards and you others can protest against the war in the streets, but as soon as someone protests for the war, you say its pathetic. That's all it is, a protest, and a morale issue. It's protesting against France's appeasement policies and against their, and many other nation's, ignoring of this threat to our country and the world. But, they don't agree with you, and they don't do it how you would, so it's pathetic. Now, i don't think is neccessary, and i don't agree or disagree with it, but i certainly agree to their right to protest that ya'll seem to hold so dear. Please, don't we have better things to do than make fun and insult people protesting in much the same light some of ya'll are?

By saying that, you have become like the people who say we Americans suck... Sure the French helped out. They were a big diversion the whole way through. And when they won they were so in debt that the country spiraled down into bankruptcy thus causing the French Revolution. Ever since then...with the old and honorable French gone *lol the concept amazes me*, France ceased to be anything but a pathetic country that liked to get their butt kicked and boast about it. BTW, the islamics out there have good reason to think america sucks since we've invested so much into controling the region. Natopo
Now, while I must say you all have some wonderful points, some people are getting a little touchy here. Now, C'jais, you obviously aren't in America or understand a thing about America, because if you did, you'd understand that Iraq (Saddam) produces enough Anthrax to kill everyone in the world two times around. He also has a wide variety of harmful toxic gases. You might wanna take that comment back.

Artoo
1. Bush is a threat to other countries. 2. Bush has killed loads of people. 3. Bush has both chemical, biological and nuclear weapons. 4. Bush has broken serveral UN rules, and intends to break more. 5. Bush is a huge threat against world peace. 6. Bush helps the terrorists in getting more recruits 1. So is Russia, your point? 2. When? 3. At least he follows his UN resolutions to disarm himself. 4. Yeah because they are the rules that America as a whole believes are unfair. At least the rules he breaks do not endanger other nations. Also I'd like to see a source that he intends to break more resolutions. 5. No more of one than China. 6. Because he actively seeks to stop terrorism, yes. I believed that was the point here, the only reason this would be a bad thing is if you wanted terrorism. So are you a militant islamic person? Heh, 3 very good reasons why France is getting what they deserve: 1. France doesn't want to fight a war, it knows other people will do so for it. 2. How many men does it take to hold Paris? I don't know, no one's tried it. 3. How many gears does a Fench tank have? 5 in reverse and 1 in forward in case of rear-attack. The last two may be jokes but they illustrate the point very well, also what about my post was flaming Eagle? It can't be flaming if it's the facts. France gets very lucrative oil deals with Saddam. This is a big reason why they are against the war. When Islamic militants protest, they do so in a very violent fashion, you should be complaining about how they protest instead of this protest. Natopo
Amen to that Artoo. And Mr. Lockhart, he may not have anthrax, but anyone who uses innocent people who are basically arrested for living to test biological weapons on is certainly not someone who I would favor over Bush. ckcsaber
There has been bad blood between the country of FRANCE and the USA. I am not even referring to their decline to help the US in this war (frankly I don't think we need em'). I remember maybe 5 years ago when we needed to go over their airspace, and they declined just because of old misunderstandings dating back to the US revolution. That is what I am referring to when I say they are A-HOLES!! Originally posted by JM Qui-Gon Jinn ckcsaber: YOU FREAKING A-HOLE!! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT YOU DAMN TRAITOR!!! I never called the French traitors. I don't even care about what the US has done by replacing the word french, with freedom. ITS JUST A NAME!! I do care about people insulting the country in which I live, and even more so, I care when their views/insults do not make any sense!!! If I was french, I would defidently report you to a moderator.
