The entry fee should be a lot smaller this time (maybe up to 50 points maximum), so it doesn't deter people from joining in. There was too much politics with the last one. Anyway, as for the categories, I think they should go a little like this: Funniest combo Best design Most original Best use of colour Or something like that. Sivy Posted May 16, 2003 Share Posted May 16, 2003 well if darky does 'Best design', i can do 'most orginal' we need another volunteer to organise the 'Best use of colour' section then will have a new thread where people can post which comp they want to enter and donate the entry fee then we can have 4 threads for each of the sections where everyone can vote. then the three winners of all sections get entered into an overall comp sound good? I like the look of the entry and prize money too, nice one Z;) Even if we are in charge of running a category, we can still enter can't we? Sivy Posted May 16, 2003 Share Posted May 16, 2003 ok so we have the 4 organisers me - most original darky - best design zbomber - funniest pad - best animated so our jobs are once people have chosen which section they wish to enter we take the donations for our section. then after a week we made our own vote threads for each section. we do the scoring and award the prizes. then put forward the winners for the overall comp. Entry fee is 25 points 1st place: 200 points 2nd place: 100 points 3rd place: 50 points. after the prizes are given for the section winners we'll pool our points for the overall winner. does all that make sense? if everyone is happy we can make the new thread with the comp rules and section info btw, just because we are running our own section doesn't mean we can enter ourselves in a different one. i.e i'm running the 'most original' section but i'll be entering mine in the 'best animated' section Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
