I recently plugged in my microphone, and thought I'd share my creations with you. If you have something like a Soundblaster card, there should be a jack for a Mic on it (usually marked with a microphone symbol)...just plug it in there. Then you need some recording software. Windows comes with a simple recording program, which will make .wav files. Alternatively, most soundcards come bundled with some kind of recording software, so you should be able to use that. If you want to convert .wav files to .mp3 (to make them smaller), you can download MusicMatch or an equivalent program for free, which will convert them for you. Father Torque Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Hey thanks StormHammer, I am gonna do this I play Drums, Piano and clarinet i will record the drums then the piano then the clarinet on seperate recorders. Then play them at the same time:D Also Storm SIlent Night was awesome, you have a great voice. Also Pinky&Brain was funny:)

Then play them at the same time:D You should be able to record each to a separate .wav file...then all you need is a decent piece of software to combine them. There are probably some good shareware ones hanging around the net that will allow you to load several .wav files, and record them back out as a single track.
