I've never had to go to the hospital before, well once and that was because I heh hand-fed a stray dog...and the stupid dog tried to take my hand off, damn that hurt had to get a tetnis shot, which sucked.

one day we went ice skating, i fell on my head and was unconsious for quite some time. i woke up in the ambulance which was very weird cause i didnt know what happend. i still cant remember.

4. Several years later my family was staying at a hotel. I was down swimming, and went to use the bathroom. In there, I stepped in something, and hopped up on the counter to wash my foot off before I got back in the pool. So, there I was sitting on the counter, feet in the sink, when, boom, the sink drops out from under me, and I fall through the opening. I stand up and look at myself to make sure I’m okay, but when I look down, there is about a three inch wide gash on top of my left foot and it is just gushing blood. I call for help and my brother gets mom who takes one look at it and knows it’s serious. At the hospital, they say that I cut every tendon and most of the nerves in my foot and shattered an artery, to where they couldn’t even find it. But they operated on it and got it patched up, and after three short months in a cast, I had full mobility. The nerves never fully healed, so all I have is a tingly sensation that turns to horrible pain if its hit hard, but I can walk without a limp, and it doesn’t bother me if nothing lands on it.

 

Ouch. That must have really hurt. I thin kI would have blacked out!

i've had 2 concussions so far, and both thanks to my older brother (they were accidents though... well i hope so).

i've also broken my collarbone because of a bad hit playing hockey.

 

Next time you hit your head and think you might have a concussion, you really should go se a doctor before you sleep, it could be dangerous if you don't, and have a concussion.

But Last summer I was riding my bike back home from the local swimming center when I peeled out of the parking lot with my helmet off and no shirt on, (being cool like normal ) Well any ways I road out there waving to my friends up ahead, who were waiting for me, so I spead up and BAM!! I slipped and slid to a complete stop, a meeting with the pavement. All I could remember was, " Oooh Look at the pretty sky" as I tumbled to the hot cement. For a moment I just layed there, and thought good! Nothing hurts too much. But then I tried to stand up and KABOOM!!! It hit me. My arm went numb then it went to pure, 100% USDA approved prime pain. I grabbed it and attempted standing up, but then my knee started killing me, so I had these people drive me home to my mom. ( I didnt even know them, for all I know they could be pedifiles:) ) I went to the doc and he says that I got a broken arm and need a cast, and the bill is 900 dollars. And I said "I could have told you that". So my knee started hurting again and it turned out I had a ACL tear/disinegration. I had surgery in Sep. And was a gimp for 6 months.

Hmm, I had a similar experience, when I was 10 or so, I was petting a neighborhood dog, "Boots" I think was it's name, when all of a sudden it jumped up and bit my right cheek. Took a huge gash right out, all I have from that is a small scar.

 

Other notable injures are breaking my finger playing touch football at school...oddly enough I never was injured when we played tackle (though that was against school rules) and skinning up my entire left leg while chasing a volleyball on a gravel parking lot. The leg thing actually hurt more, I didn't really know my finger was broken until I looked at it later & it is all bent & crooked, but I have full mobility & no pain with it.

Seriously I mean most (yes MOST NOT ALL) of these injurys are chump injury's.

 

I've injured myself tons of times, **** happens, you just gotta suck it up and deal with it.

 

List of injurys i've had:

• • Split my head open in a fight (got shoved and my head [2]smashed open on a chair leg and blood poured out, no ER for me heh).
    
  • Two Shiners from fighting.
    
  • 3rd Degree (worst burns u can get)burns on my whole left arm and left side of upper torso area, also got steam burns on my left fingers and hand (work injury, with 400 degree celcius shortening).
    
  • Broken Pinky finger (bends wierd now).
    
  • Massively sprained ankle (swelled to the size of a softball from rolling my ankle after landing in a pothole after jumping, in the dark. Had to walk half way home on it before I could goto the ER).
    
  • 2 sprained knee's they still hurt to this day.
    
  • Fell down a flight of stairs and got a concussion, when I was 6 or 7 can't remember i'd have to ask.
    
  • Car accident and got lots of bruises and scratches from the fall (was riding my bicycle in my teen years to practice didn't see stop sign at a busy intersection and I rear ended a moving car, flew 20 feet through the air and landed hard, without a bike helmut. My bikes whole front end was warped and practically totaled but was repaired. Thankfully my injurys were repairable to if u catch my drift )

That's about the extent of my "serious" injurys i've been through in my life, so far heh.

Well, I've cracked my head off of various objects many a time. Mainly ice, when I'm skating at the rink. When I'm surround by bright lights and glaring white for a while, I get very dizzy and confused. Not the best thing to happen when you're on skates, so I've wound up laying on the ice holding my head several times. Luckily I have a hard head (not just what people tell me, I actually do have a harder head than most people, hits to the head don't faze me as much as others. )

 

Other than that, I was in a car accident a long time ago and wound up slamming my head off the seat in front of me (it was head-on) which resulted in swelling on the brain. HA, at least I have an excuse.

I never had broken bones or anything too serious. My bloodiest moment was when I was nine and I was playing street hockey with my dad and his friends in a parking lot. I was running (We didn't use roller blades) a stick went under me and I had shorts on. I landed on my knees on the asfault with strewn gravel every where. When I landed, a huge scape formed below me knees. Two inches wide, seven inches down. It was big enough that blood ran down to my socks and it was on my shorts. I didn't cry right away but I did when it started to sting. I had the scab for over 2 and a half weeks.

yeh. I'm always getting scraped crap. mostly my knees.... :S

 

One time, I was riding a bike with my friend. We were going down a really steep hill. He kinda lost control, and hit me. My foot got caught in the Bike Chain, and I could pedal good. I lost my balance, fell off, and skidded like 5 feet. My face was all bloody, hands, knees, everything. I cried with that, but I think you would too!

 

Another time, the day before Christmas break, I was at school during recess. We were throwing a bouncy ball against a wall. I tried to get it. But so did my friend. And my friend isn't very skinny. Not at all.... I flew. Hit my head on a curb, scraped my knee on the tar. Man, that hurt a lot. Didn't cry though. My knee was bleeding a lot, so I just went to the office.

 

Last time, not too bad. I was at Basketball practice. It was a loose ball. I went to dive for it. My knee was scraped. And our Gym floor is wicked dirty. It was gross to look at, but it didn't really hurt. Well, atleast I got the ball into play. ^_^
