Terminator 3: Rise of the machines.

Yeah, I'm a fan of these movies. I saw the new trailer for it right before the new Matrix movie. It will kick ass! :D

Though I feel that Arnold is getting a little old to have these roles........maybe it's just me.

Why? Only difference I see is his hair.

A movie with robots fighting humans in a post-nuclear exchange future sucking is a factual impossibility.

Why weird? Women kick just as much butt as men thank you very much.

I absolutely love the originals. I don't think T3 is gonna be all that, I dunno why, just a feeling. I'm still gonna see it though, but maybe I'll wait for the R1 DVD, I haven't decided yet.

The official site is hella cool, and I love the T-850 Schematics screensaver. Don't even get me started on the WMP skin!

Make up is a good thing as well - at least for him.

I just know that the dude is like 60 and then I think of my dad who's about the same age. Anyways, I'm still going to like the movie.

is there ANYONE out there who has an original idea that can be conveyed in one great movie and one great movie alone.

Er, it's not like T2 didn't leave it open for a sequel. It's not like they said HAY LETS MAKE A SEQUEL BLING BLING last week or something. I'm really glad they did so that I can see whether or not my theory of the rise of Skynet is right or not.

No. There are no original ideas. Every movie has already been made. I am entirely serious.

Yeah you're probably right.

There is a difference between sequels that are needed and sequels that are just in it for the money. LOTR cannot possibly be squashed into a 3 hour film and is therefore needed. Alien needed sequels. The Matrix Trilogy was a whole story written from the very start, not a lot of ppl realise that. The Terminator films needs this sequel to explain what happens to Skynet. I know I always wondered what happended next.

Those are just a few of the exceptions. Films like Men In Black 2 and all the Disney sequels shouldn't exist.

It's exactly like that. The ending to Terminator 2 was perfect, the only reason this movie exists is to give Arnold one last big payday.

No, it didn't.

Firstly, the T-101 left a whole arm behind in the steel mill. They failed to destroy the chip in that arm. It's reasonable to assume that chip was recovered just like the first chip was recovered from the first Terminator. Also, do you really think that Cyberdyne had ALL its research in that ONE lab? No.

Secondly, my belief, and what I'm hoping is what the third movie is about, is that Skynet rises REGARDLESS of what they do. Skynet rose before the first movie through someone's research. All they did after the first movie was change the date that Skynet became self-aware by leaving that chip behind in 1984. Terminator 2 didn't clear this up. Skynet WILL rise regardless because SOMEONE will invent Skynet. They just keep changing when it happens. Learning the fact that they cannot stop Skynet from becoming self-aware, they cannot stop Judgement Day, they cannot stop the Rise of the Machines, and that they cannot stop the Machines from going back in time to kill John Connor is a much better end to the series that the extremely vague T2 ending.

Holy munkeys.

EAP!

*Glomps EAP and nails her to the floor* ^__^

Oh, a subject? Well, I guess I should probably mention that I have seen not a single Terminator movie. I probably should, huh? :D

Her? HER??? Yay, another one!!! :D

Yes Red, you should. ^_^

I agree with everything Nute said. They made a point of leaving his arm behind, so I always presumed there would be a third film, and I thought it would have been a lot sooner than this too.

i'm still against the sequel...it's like....

what ever happened to "wondering what would happen next", or the imagination...

nstead...they are going to drag the movies into the ground and they will constantly take our dreams of what happened and smash them, rip them apart and leave us with something like JP2

::::cries:::

they better not screw this one up too
