|GG|Carl Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 I just want to know, is this one good or bad? A reskin of ugnaught, our clan skin, it's not very complicated. NOTE: the link might not work the first time you click it if you are outside europe or have a low bandwidth. Just click again and hope that it works!
|GG|Carl Posted June 25, 2003 Author Posted June 25, 2003 hmm... strange to me it works... the picture is on a swedish server, so it might take some time to load it, but be patient!
Eldritch Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 It's not a matter of time. This is the message I get.
|GG|Carl Posted June 25, 2003 Author Posted June 25, 2003 Thats swedish, it means like "this site does not exist at our servers, but it does, cause I put it there, and I see it if I click on the link. This is very strange... Try to go to our main homepage and click on the link from there.
The Cheat Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 i was able to see it, looks like an ugnaught in an imperial uniform or something. simple skin. ive seen better but i have definitly seen worse so i will rate it as average, keep it up
daring dueler Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Its OK. I think you could have done a little more. It looks like you just added a symbol and shaded the head.
Eldritch Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 I finally saw it, and I have to agree with daring dueler. It doesn't look like you changed much, so I rated it "bad." What you did do looks ok, but not enough has changed, and a re-skin needs more than a logo and the clan name put on it to get a "good" rating from me.
|GG|Carl Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 Ok, I said it was simple, thank you for voting!
|GG|Carl Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 I think I will make version 2 a bit more "complicated", Actually, I just made this one to learn how to create a skin... And remember, It's my first skin, EVER!
Prime Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Certainly a good first try. Just keep practicing and I bet you'll turn out some great skins
Crow_Nest Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Its good, How come i'm the only one who voted "its good"? Mabey next time, you can ask a few skilled skinners to help you. (Its not bad for first time though)
|GG|Carl Posted June 28, 2003 Author Posted June 28, 2003 Thanks a lot Prime and crow_nest! I'm glad you liked it! And now I know some good tricks to make skinning easier... If you compare the voting results to each other, the overall rating must be Avarage, and thats not bad...
The Truthful Liar Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 Hey, another Swede. Good to see some more coming to Lucasforums. Wrong place to put this thread though, moving now.
Crowy Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 great for first skin, i havent even bothered trying skinning yet, but the problem with the link i tihnk was the fact it doesnt allow... uhh... whats it called im not big on internet terms, but its sometihng like remote connection which means you have to type the link in or sometihng...
|GG|Carl Posted July 28, 2003 Author Posted July 28, 2003 Version 2 is soon downloadable! It's called "holo ugnaught". And I think it's really cool. I'll see if I can find some pictures. NOTE: I have deleted the screenshot!!! so don't go mad because of the link doesn't work! cause it dosn't!!!
RoxStar Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Did you notice that this thread was a year old?
90SK Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Yes, but I was on a role so I didn't really care at the time.
LightNinja Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Dont worry roxstar, Skye is famous for doing things like that
