obi
*dresses in Morpheous's cloths from reloaded and stands on platform* SWAMP! HEAR ME! I gots good news! Good news for me, anyway. I now have a faster internet connection. It's great! No more waiting around and sleeping trying to load a web page! I have updated my service to something called Juno SpeedBand, and it's exactly what it says it is. Speed. It's awesome! It's only supposed to be 5 times faster then my old connection, but it seems a LOT faster then that. Ask InsaneSith! He sent me a picture that would normaly take me about 10 minutes to load, which only look like 2 or 3. YEE-HAW! Sorry, I am just VERY happy right now. I don't know why I took my sweet time upgrading. I am SO glad I did! ^_^ edit- it's still 56k, but a MUCH MORE faster 56k. I have to go through dial up and all that, but somehow the Juno Inet service has managed to make it go faster with it's new software. I LOVE IT! BongoBob
How much does it cost?
obi
It's only $14.95 a month. I know that sounds like it's crappy to you, but hey, it's the BEST thing I have ever had, and it's so fast, I blinked, and the page was already loaded. Seriously, this speed is going to give me a heart attack.

Thank you for introducing this concept to me, obi! You are a god! It's better, faster, AND cheaper then AOL, and you don't have any limited hours at all! If you get it, you will NOT be disapointed, Bongo.
BongoBob
YAY! I think you just convinced her. Would it affect our long distance, though?
obi
I'm not sure. It all depends on your location and if there is a local Juno telephone number near you. You can check out http://www.juno.com and look around and see if there is anything there that might help you. =)

BongoBob
Oh yeah, how are download times? Are they faster also?
obi
They were for me, well after a few tries. I downloaded a few files for JO, and one got up to 30 kb/sec, the other 9 kb/sec, the other remained at 5 kb/sec. (Maybe the 30kb/sec was pure luck, i'm not sure) The downloading issue I am not sure of, but I know the websites and img's and gif's load a LOT quicker. •-BLaCKouT-•
Welcome, Obi-Wan. Feels good doesn't it? After 20 minutes with Broadband, I knew I couldn't go back to that infernal 56k connection. Nothing against 56k users, it's just like after you've bought a Porsche, you know that the Citroen 2CV in the garage isn't going to get driven again... B.
