I think he is innocent of the felony charge. He admitted adultry. But that is not a crime in the eyes of law. Also some stuff that will help him in his case. The Eagle County Sheriif heard about the incident and rushed a warrant, without taking in the facts. Which made his trial un-fair. SO now he gets a trial case in Colorado. I sure hope he wins. Since he is a great basketball player, and by the facts the case points his way.

well... the facts are unknown to us actually. though the idea of her being a gold digger aren't unfounded. did you hear how she tried out for american idol? and lost? but he was STUPID for hooking up with her. DUMB-ASS!

I was refering facts to what we think or know is true. Either by testimony or by finding it out:)

I still think he is innocent:D

The chick tried to kill herself they are now saying. I guess she tried to overdose and die because she couldn't handle it all.

And the case gets that much more interesting.

Why does Webber who admitted to criminal charges just have to pay money when Kobe who hasn't been convicted of anything might go to jail?

Because Webber plea bargained to get a lesser deal. If they dont think they're going to be able to definately nail him on the charges, the dfendants a lot of the time plead guilty to lesser charges. IE: A huge fine and community service.

And man... this chick's case is SCREWED now with these drug facts coming out. The District Attorney is apparently new on the job and seems to have rushed this thing without knowing a whole lot about the situation. screwed

i believe he is innocent of the charges. New devolements today state that the "victom" had a previous incident at which she hated her life and tried to commit suicide by using pills and drugs. I dont really know if this is usable in the Kobe case, but it surtainly shows that she is an unstable woman.
