*Irvine flies from Cracken's blow, head hitting on the wall. The blow did knock some sense of reality back to him. He heard to his father's words, but could barely listen with a clouded mind, even after his anger was subsided.*

*He got up, picked up his lightsaber and followed behind. Not even bothering using the force to help clear up his own mind.*

Lokpihet: I'm on a war footing at the moment. However, Atredis will be safe enough within 24 hours. Go there.

--------------------------------

Deac: This one slippery. I've killed him twice already. We have to make sure he goes for good. Then there's his warfleet.

((OOS: R15, you never told me what Kioet did...is he still with Farran and Artemis, or did he run off on his own? ;)))

*As Starr and Gilian draw nearer to the meeting place, Gilian begins to sense something*

What is that? It's as if reality itself is being warped, some kind of intense nexus being formed...but the oddest thing is, the nexus is moving!

*Starr continues to glare as he lands the ship*

It's centered in some kind of being...wait, it couldn't be...

*Gilian looks at Starr. She looks at the tomb's entrance they had landed in front of, and at Starr's expectant look being sent towards it*

It couldn't be this "Lord Cracken"?

*Cracken finally breaks into the light, and walks down the long stairs that lead down to the canyon floor. Starr instinctivly bows, and Cracken motions to rise*

Not as i expected, but good enough. *he looks at Gillian, and smiles* Ah, yes, Rwos's friend, I remember you. You told me to destroy the book on Coruscant, which I did rather easily. *he gives a small bow* Your knowledge saved the Jewel of the Galaxy. *He pauses, then speaks to both Gillian and STarr*

Ragnos has given me insight to save my daughter. He came across a device which tore an opening in he dimensional barriers. However, he hid it as he felt that his Sith Brothers coulnd't be trusted with it. From the vauge description he gave me, it's probably not of the galaxy, possibly universe. *He looks at Gillian* When my excavation teams find it, I will need you to help me operate it to find and get my daughter back to this dimension.

*Another pause, and a breath* Ragnos also said this device weakened the barriers that hold the dimensions seperate. As long as it exists, this dimension will be vunerable to attack from others. That is how Rwos landed here. The barriers I assume were weak enough to let him through, and they've been deteriorating ever since. So our objective is two fold. Find this device, and resuce my daughter, then restore the barriers and then destroy it. He said I was the only one capable, so It will be I.

*He looks sternly at Gillian* If it is destroyed, and the barriers restored, it is quite possible you and Rwos will not be able to return to your own dimension, ever.

*He folds his arms, and then looks at Gillian, who he notices his looking at him a little odd*

*to Gillian* Well, what is it?

((It's time for the threadly attack of the exposition demons!))

Rwos: We have only bits and pieces of information from the ones we can read, but certain of the Scrolls are completely indecipherable. I am told they are most likely in some sort of code. As I already told you, we could only translate the line, "Seek out the watchers when the dragons return". My translators suggest that the key to breaking the code lies in the Scrolls that only you have a copy of.

I was hoping to bring some of the translators here to help, if you're agreeable to the idea...

Gilian: Ah, um, something like that is true. I can see how an outsider could see it that way...since you know this much already, I suppose it couldn't hurt to explain the rest.

The barriers between dimensions are indeed decaying, but no one knows why. The builders of the Barriers, a race called the Gallyava, have cut off contact with pretty much everyone, so we can't ask them for advice.

Rwos came here because others had already crossed through, slipped in through the cracks. Blade teleporters are normally the only technology that can pass through the Barriers, but we believe that certain people have discovered or created an actual magical substance that can weaken or pierce the Barriers. Mabye the device your friend Ragnos discovered is made of this or something like it.

*she looks at Cracken, puzzled*

There's something else, though...

*She pauses and looks around*

Why don't you explain about your daughter...and yourself. You're...different. There's something strange about you, I can feel it. Don't tell me it's your "Force", either - I have no way of sensing that. What is it? What are you?

*Irvine finally makes his way out, with a blank look at the ground. He walks over to a place in the wall where there was a slight obtuse angle in the wall, and leaned agenst it. He glances over at Starr and Gilian, then back off into nowhere. You didn't need to force to tell that he was phsically and mentaly exausted from this trip.*

Irvine *after a while* "So Starr, how'd did it go with my younger brother?"

*He looked at her odd* I would have thought Rwos would have mentioned something about it..... Something keeps tugging me between this dimension and another.

*Procedes to motion to the shuttle, which is noticable cooler to sit while Cracken tell Gillian all about the girl and the dimension hopping, sensing his daughter in that dimension, how his powers seem to be augmented by some other dimensional power that get's greater and greater every time the skips happen....*

Starr: *to Irvine* Younger brother? From the looks of him, he was much older than you.

Gilian: *after listening to Cracken's story* Strange.

*She thinks for a moment*

Gilian: I'm starting to suspect...well, I'd better explain more. Rwos, I, and some of the other Blades have been investigating a set of prophecies that were created in both our dimensions and indicate some sort of connection between them, older than anything - even the Barriers. The Blood Scrolls refer to some mysterious beings called Sleepers that start out as any ordinary person, but become affected by some kind of previously dormant magic force that begins to transform them into...well, we aren't clear on exactly what, but it's definitely out of the ordinary.

I'm not sure, but I think you may be a "Sleeper".

I think this "girl" is trying to control you. She may even be augmenting your powers, especially if the increases coincide with your reality-skipping. Why she's doing this, I don't know. We really don't know anything about these Sleepers except they have something to do with a coming cataclysm in this dimension, and they could be very powerful. Obviously, she knows more about this than any of us. If she, or it, has the power to hide your daughter it may be impossible for us to get her. However, if you can still sense her presence, that means we can certainly find her. It might just take a while.

I'm really not sure what all this means.

*Cracken mussed. This was quite the interesting development. His com Chirrped, and he excused himself.*

What.

Comlink: Sir, we've found...something. Not of this galaxy, that's for sure. It's runes are nothing in recorded galactic history, even some of the Sith Text Samples you've given us.

Excellent. Send me the co-ordinates, we're on our way.

*He re joins the group, and tosses Starr his holoprojector with a single dot on it*

Go to that location, i think my people have found what Ragnos was telling me about.

*Starr's ship arrives above the excavation. Lifter droids are bringing up a large, strangely shaped device from a deep, huge pit in the sands. Gilian walks over to the excavation crew, who give her strange looks but leave her along when Starr waves them away*

Gilian: I don't recognize the make, but...

*She calls her hovercraft, which had attached itself to Starr's ship. She taps some instructions into the console on top of it*

Gilian: *to the one of the excavation crew* What have you found out about this thing?

*Irvine thinks for a moment.* 'Older? I thought he was created after me...'

*Irvine strains to remeber the past few weeks, his visit to the moon of coruscant...* 'Yes, he did look older, but...'

*Irvine almost asks Starr another question, by this time the three of them had left. He relised that he was more 'out of it' then he thought.*

*Irvine climbs down from the cliff, and gets on the remaining speeder and follows the others.*

Lokpihet: Destroy all defense facilities. Launch all fighters and troop transports. And make sure you record everything...

And tell our friends he can board now...

*The officers go to carry out Lokpihet's orders. Lokpihet stares at the planet below*

I can hurt you too, Starkiller. This is for each and every time I've died, and each and every time you've forced me to come back.
