griff38 Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 PLease anything but white.
ZBomber Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 It would be neat if every user could choose th backround of their post. However, it owuld be a lot mroe work to do, considering its pretty useless. I sitll like the idea of black and gold, but, whatever.
SkinWalker Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 I like the current scheme... white background with grey post boxes... it makes the colors of text, smilies, avatars and images stand out. Particularly text. Still, vBulletin can be set up so the user can pick a color scheme.
matt-- Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Of course it can...that would just make it so that the user would have to use the same template for the whole of lucasforums, which most users aren't willing to deal with.
Bob Gnarly Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 I like this new layout Matt please leave it liek this till...something..happens i guess
Andy867 Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 The only problem I have with the new color scheme is that with the light grey posts, the time they posted it is nearly impossible to read without highlighting it. In the dark grey posts, it looks fine, but the light grey posts blends . But I found after adjusting the brightness of my monitor that the Forums are very tolerable to my eyes, which I might add are very sensitive to bright lights.
ZBomber Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 *Shrugs* I think the new colors are great. Andy - I can read the text without highlighting on both backrounds.....
Andy867 Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 Well, I had Matt change the time font color to black yesterday, which makes it now easier to read... Before it was a really bright white, making it hard to read on the light grey posts.

Swoosh Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 I'm not sure about the black border yet...or the scroll bar for that matter...I might try to fool around with those, but matt and chris might get mad at me Swoosh
Guest Jed Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 I'd say leave it alone, it looks fine Personally, KingPin, the color scheme you made is a little rooty-tooty, and it's also blinding on both a CRT and LCD screen

Is it just me or is everything pushed to the left?
