Hellfire Jedi
First off, this is a sport. Nothing else, the weapons fire pellets, they don't hurt, maybe a welt. On to the STUFF! Uber sweet DE I'm going to work up 20 bux tommorow and order that, what you guys think of this stuff? BTW, thats a spring gun, one of the cheapers ones, you fire then re-cock. Shotokan
Well if you have the money, I'd say invest on a gas Desert Eagle. They shoot around 300 feet per second. Plus gas guns are semi-auto.
RoguePhotonic
20 bucks?..that seems a bit low...all the airsoft pistols I have seen were around 150 at least. But that's the gun I want...the real version anyway...desert eagle mark XIX...i'm gonna get the .50 AE Only a low low cost of 1500 dollars. Shotokan
all the airsoft pistols I have seen were around 150 at That's 'cause the guns you were looking at were either electric or gas. Spring guns tend to be cheap. That's because it's normally good for a player who wants to get a feel for an airsoft gun.

If you hit them as opposed to retail gun stores you can usually get them for a few hundred cheaper. I've seen 50 cals for as low as 1100. The main reason I chose .44 over .50 is the ammo. 50 cal ammo is kind of a pain to get anywhere other than gun stores but .44 ammo is sold pretty much anywhere (wal-mart, etc.)
Shotokan
But is it made out of metal and all?...or is it some cheap plastic? Normally the guns are made with metal and plastic. I'll say this in hierarchial order: gas guns - electric guns - and spring guns. Gas guns are the most powerful, but are restricted only to pistols and sub-machine guns, such as the Mac-11. These are semi-auto to auto. The electric guns can be pistols, sub-machine guns, and machine guns. The machine guns include the M16, MP5 series, SR series, and much more. AEGs (automatic electric guns) can be upgraded to go as fast as a gas gun. THe spring guns include pretty much the same as the electric guns, except that you need to cock the gun before each shot. Also a spring gun is relatively weak.

FK | unnamed
well yes there is a *huge difference between say a 9 mm round and a .50 round but the difference between a .44 and a .50 is not that great. Both are going to (pardon the expression) **** **** up. The price of ammo for either is not cheap. My .44 is an Israeli Military Industries model and you have to be *very careful with the brand of ammo you use. Cheap reloads and low quality crap can and will damage your gun. So not only are you buying an expensive type of ammo, you have to pay even more for the best quality in that cal. so as to not ruin your gun. RoguePhotonic
Hmm i'll keep that in mind...got my mind set on getting one...nice shiny chrome one. Maybe i'll buy the parts to change it into a 357 model...those rounds are probably allot cheaper....so if I am just target shooting can save money. HaruGlory89
This stuff is kinda banned from where I come from. People have been using it to hurt people's eyes.
KBell
they dont use it to hurt people's eyes, they use it for a cheaper, faster, and less painful Paintball alternative
Hellfire Jedi
Don't buy from that WGC website, it sucks major wangage. I just bought, from another site, a 2 tone 92f with a free silencer!

Kain
Man, if I get shot wit a pellet and I know who dun it, they're getting about 10 fold the amount in paintballs. My gun is about 400 FPS tops, but we gotta have it below 250 FPS for the place where I play...bastards.
BongoBob
Haha, I hate places that do that. I go paintballing with a couple of friends every once in a while, but I don't know what I use, I just borrow theirs. We're pretty good too.

Hellfire Jedi
Airsoft Atlanta, under spring pistols, thats where mine is. Spring are the WORST type of airsoft. But sense its my first... Another Airsoft site, I'm on a Colt 1911/M19 fetish, that site is cheap and has some sweet guns. Redwolf Airsoft is probably one of the best I've seen. UnCompany has a *HUGE* selection of weapons, custom ones, EXPENSIVE/beautiful guns. If you've got muchos muchos moneyos, goto UnCompany and buy buy buy! Enjoy! EDIT: I figured for those of you who've never seen one fire, here is the new Marui Desert Eagle .50AE Hard Kick. Save-Target As.
