These alone, in the format that they're presented, would suggest that there are even more elite-elite-elite professions... darthfergie Posted August 20, 2003 Share Posted August 20, 2003 Heavy Axe is actually non-certified...or something to that effect... it's the two handed axe that is needed for Brawler. Heavy Axe can do about 99 DMG with a 6 speed coming straight off of a thug and is a decentish alternative when riflemen get caught too close in at early levels. I'm pretty good at spotting a forgery (used to be a graphic artist/desktop publisher) and I can not see any sign of modification. Look at the translucent background and the flawed areas; they look just right to me. Then again people are capable of anything these days. It's one of three things. 1) It was a beta tester or DEV using this feature. 2) Somebody actually has become a jedi (OMG). 3) An extremely well designed fake (I doubt it). I guess you could always /tell saleth a message about it. If you knew what server he was on, find a way to meet him and see if he uses force powers and saber skills. And, the different jedi paths than, wouldn't it seem as though that would mean the devs would WANT more jedi's... I mean, if the jedi are than supposed to be so rare, why make different classes for them? Everything I've read on jedis has said that they want to keep them rare. And they also said that jedi is the hardest class to level, and I thought unarmed was bad! Keep this in mind, Jedi will most likely be able to use their 3.5 masterred professions all in Jedi classes. I would anticipate at least 6 or so after the base one. Don't forget, Jedi Master will most likely be an Elite-Elite profession. As for the authenticity of this, well, who knows. It looks authentic, but that's an aweful lot of time to invest in something like this. I have heard rumors of a suspended Jedi account....but that is all that is at this time. Looks like there is a lot of conversion glitches around ALL OF THE TEXT.. of course that could be just standard bmp to jpg conversion artifacts. Another thing, if YOU WERE A JEDI why the hell would you not blur out your ingame name... forgive me, but if I GOT JEDI I may post a pic, but I would NEVER tell anyone my ingame name. Another thing the lower right hand skills bars... don't add up to the skill menu. Another thing why would two column header have the same name "Jedi Knight". Another thing there is no "To:" before Jedi Councilman. Also whats with the blank window above the skills indicators bars (lower right) with the red x. A lot of garbled artifacts on the "currently" in You Currently have 0. even though the underlining background is black. AND the most convincing prove its a fake. ------------------------------------------------------ In the Intermediate Saber Defense Popup the second skill is spelled wrong "skil" in This skill requires 5 skil points to learn. I dont see a cursor so that leads me to believe that the skill description box is added. 2) Skill is mispelled as posted already. 3) In allt he other profession, each level of a branch has a different name. not just intermediate, advanced, expert, and master. Plus it is usually specialist, not master. 4) If he has only 30 skill points taken then he has novice marksman and novice jedi.... So how does he have DLT20A rifle certification. Isnt that an intermediate certification. As well as the DH17 carbine. If so then more than 30 skill points would be used. I really think it is a fake......and a very good one at that. Someone spent alot of time and effort doing this one. I just graduated school for graphic/3D design, so I work with Photoshop on a daily basis and this is very possible...alot of attention to detail...but very possible. The cursor, not so true, think about when you take a normal screenshot, the mouse isnt there, but if the mouse is over soemthing, displaying the name or whatever, that is... 2. Skill, maybe, but you can't rule it out that it could be the games fault too (beta/see below) 3. And to correct you, in unarmed, the rank4 unarmed is master, not specialist...so you can't rule that out. 4. True, but as I said earlier, here's where I'm confused, the layout LOOKS like the new patch layout, and aside from the dlt20a cert. look what else...light frag grenade, stone knife? Ok light frag is commando, i think, and stone knife is brawler...so the only way he could have had these certs. is if it was BEFORE the huge patch. Also, anyone notice the top action bar? it has 1-0 and than - and = mine doesn't have that, so either there's something I don't know... OR...its either test server, or beta.
