AGemma Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 http://www.clanuak.com/whatever/ I've been cracking up at this twice in a row, gotta spread the joy!
BigJKO Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 http://www.rathergood.com/independent_woman/ I kinda like this one!

ChaosFish Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 emma, your link has left me with a big "whatever" spread on my face
AGemma Posted September 2, 2003 Author Posted September 2, 2003 Oops! If I interpret that correctly you find that link somehow offensive, and I appologize if that's the case.

remixor Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 lol They were both pretty funny, although I have to say I prefer JKO's. I'm not a big fan of political humour unless it actually makes some kind of political point or contains actual political parody of some kind, whereas Emma's link is just sort of Bush dancing around with some pretty blunt "satire". No offense though Emma JKO's is funny (to me) for the right reason, which is that it's a bunch of kittens in their own little kitten band. Well, that was a needlessly explanatory reply.
twifkak Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 The kittens would've been funny if they vaguely synced their hand movements to the music. The kitten was just waving a mallet near a marimba. Bad. Also, it was a synthesized brass instrument. Also, it's using that damn cat picture that's been around the world and back more times than you could say "old" in the time it would take to read this post aloud. Does anybody happen to remember the song that the GW Bush "whatever" song is based on? edit: Nevermind.
Huz Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Trust the BBC to have the answers. Incidentally, BBC programme "Dead Ringers" did the same joke at some point, with an impressionist who actually does manage to sound like Bush providing the voice, but - gasp - this internet interpretation is actually slightly funnier. Oh man!
DomStLeger Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 The cat thing looks just like an advert I've seen on tv for some kids drink, minus the flattened cows. I love the George W one hehe!
ChaosFish Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Originally posted by AGemma Oops! If I interpret that correctly you find that link somehow offensive, and I appologize if that's the case. Of course I am not offended! I didn't meant it that way It's nice, but it's name suits it
DustCropper Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 http://www.jibjab.com/cartoons/rumple/rm_MOVIE01.HTM (flash movie) Since we're making fun of Bush...
Mattsius Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 Both were funny, but my points goes to WHATEVER!
BigJKO Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 Nevermind the kittens! Elbow is a great band!
