  1. It hurts now, bit of a headache, but nothing I'm not used to. :D

Believe me, if you're as clumsy as I am, these things become daily routine.

  2. Brianna isn't at the top of lucasforums... is she? That's Visas and Malak. But I know the picture you're talking about. I just saw it as a hood, I never thought it was her hair. I think maybe Kae would have had long hair, but not her. Though if that's how you want to portray her, feel free.

I don't know how a non-moderator could know whether it would work or not. Unless they have already asked... Keep the thread going, and we'll see if it turns out well.

This morning I was turning my computer on, and I accidently whacked my head on the edge of the desk. Now I've got a bump on my forehead - perfect for the start of college!

  3. Yeah, I could do that. My photoshop is acting up, though, and everytime I try to fix the colour for any drawings I've done, it goes grey/black/white. I think I'll just use pencils, if I can get any. the ones I used for those sketches of Revan and the Exile were my sisters friends.

  4. Ohh, chores. I wish they didn't exist. I was supposed to take my dog for a walk, but I was just so tired, because I didn't get much sleep last night. So instead I'm on K2. :D

I'll get to work on the portraits, soon. Do they have to be detailed, or just pencil? I would rather not put a heap of effort into portraits, with so much other work to do.

And what, you mean long hair? As in... long long? I don't think she'd suit it much. Maybe slightly longer than it already is, because it can't be easy to draw a woman with completely short hair and still have her look female  and I'm not too good at drawing lekku, so I'll let you draw Mission if it comes to that. He also has Dustil doesn't he? Who else?

Well, as they say, sometimes it's better to walk away from the argument, despite the fact you know you're right... because you'll be winning in many other ways.

  5. So, I would be doing portraits of Mira, Bao-Dur, Revan and Bastila? Osh, I haven't drawn Bastila before, but sure, I'll give that a go. :xp: the second you said that, I got this amazing image of Bastila and Carth sat on the Republic ship... but in my head, it's amazingly painted, and it's just so out of my league lol. I hate my mind.

I suppose this means designing a robe for Bao, too. Also, got no problem with the exile thing... I prefer Revan anyway. :)

I'm sure HOP will be able to draw... but if he doesn't feel like he can, or he simply doesn't want to, then I'll be more than happy to draw one or two of his characters. Note - I'm far better at drawing males than females (faces, at least... I'm alright at drawing either genders bodies).

  6. Ah, you see, this is when it would be a good idea to have been nice to the moderators. :xp: ah well, I'm sure at least the other two will listen. If not, we go to plan B.

I had some quite nice drawings of specific characters (for K3) in battle, and certain possible scenes, but I've apparently left them in Tenerife. I'm really annoyed, too, because they took quite a while, and turned out nice!

  7. I wasn't saying its bad that you're slightly ahead, what I meant was, don't get too ahead... like three or four chapters. And I agree wholeheartedly - there will be some times where someone may not be able to write the next chapter, and so, unless it is necessary for the chapters completion, they could take a break and let the other two take it on together.

We could start a thread... it would get more attention, I bet. Your messages seem to be being ignored... who have you sent it to? I advise you try some of the moderators, and not just one.

  8. Thank you :) and good luck to you too. I'm sure you'll get the one you prefer.

Luckily for me, the pay at Birthdays is £4.85 - now I've just got to pray that I didn't somehow mess up without knowing. Interviewers can see those sort of small mistakes.

  9. Alright, sounds good enough to me! I'm almost finished with my part of chapter one - haven't even started thinking of chapter two. Try not to get too far ahead. I don't think HOP has finished his part either... at least I haven't seen any evidence of it.

  10. The interview went fine! Got the interviewer to laugh (not because of a joke, and not at me either!), arrived early, stayed confident, didn't fidget, kept eye contact, and I had an answer for everything. :)

I'll be finding out on Monday, if I've got it or not.

Thank god I have an xbox360 :xp: I knew something like this would happen sometime! Do you know the exact release date? 15th September or something?

That Canderous thing is quite interesting. Certainly ironic! What do you aim to get across by the end of that section?

  11. it's so difficult! I barely finished it, forgot my percentage, but it was definitely below 70% though.

I think my interview went well, and I'll be finding out on Monday whether I got the job or not. *crosses fingers*

Plus the pay is £4.85 - woop!

  12. Thank you very much!

I'm going to be my nerdiest. :D

  13. Well if worse comes to worse, we'll have to explain who the story is by. Big, bold font saying -

    Authors:

Burnseyy, Darth_Yuthura, HIGH ON PIE 14

    :^: or something like that.

    & thank you.

  14. Yeah, obviously I'll still be posting. Especially with K3 on the go. :) I've added a bit more, btw. Any luck with getting our three names on the 'by <insert author here>' thing?

I'm going to have to log off now - interview's quite early, and I've got to get there earier. I really hope I don't blow it... just got to stay cool and confident, and not say anything stupid like 'i live far away' or 'college will make arriving on time, difficult'.. >.>

    Goodnight.

  15. It'll be worse for the younger ones on the forum, because they likely won't have as much work to do, and thus, be able to log on a lot... only to find everyone else is offline, working. Ah, I remember those days!

I'm just happy I got the grades I wanted in my GCSEs, and that I'm going to the college I want, without having to redo a GCSE subject (that happens if you get bad grades in English maths or science).

  16. Well if you get the annoying stuff out of the way at the start of your life, the rest of your life will be much easier, because hopefully you'll upgrade to a job you love. Of course, that's if that happens. Sometimes people just come out short. With your intelligence though, I wouldn't worry about that.

It's scary having to think of the future so much - I'd rather stay this age for ever, but obviously that's impossible. At least I'm enjoying it.

  17. Yeah, college starts next week for me too. I can't wait to get it going, but I know once it starts, I'll have little spare time. I love having so much time to do anything I want - I've relaxed so much this holiday it's going to be difficult to get back into the routine of working so much.

  18. Yeah, apprenteships don't have money in them either. It's pretty stupid. I'm just so glad I'm getting money every week juust because I'm going to college. :)

Hopefully the internship will work out for you - though the experience is rewarding too, I bet.

  19. Oh, I know what you mean. Sometimes, if there aren't any books to read/drawings to draw/stories to write, or you simply aren't in the mood, no internet can be so boring.

Life is good, got the interview tomorrow :( but my mums fine. How's your life?

  20. Haha, if I get on the news, it'll probably be for sleep walking after a drunken night and digging a hole in some random person's back garden. Now that would be entertainment for the nation.

People who listen to peoples opinions and make it their own without a second thought, anger me. People who give up, sadden me, and people who have done both of these and don't even realise it, confuse me! Also, people who think the world is about to end, because they've lost their boyfriend at the age of 13 make me laugh, but... let's not get into that :D

I see you're the type to try and change things too, since you instinctively broke from routines, to travelling the world, and saving lives. :) what people don't realise is that, there are far more ways to make a difference than first meets the eye. I plan to make a difference to the world one day, that's just a hope, but whether it happens or not all boils down to hard work and dedication. Not mindlessly falling into routine.

This job, Birthdays, I'm going for an interview in apparently only gives minimum wage. And even though it's ridiculous, it's my only option atm. Better than nothing, but god, £3.53 is so bad.

  21. I guess it's true that, once you've lived for so long, you get tired of having to pay attention, so you just... ignore it. I can't see myself getting like that, but of course I can say that - I'm 16. Who knows what I'll turn out like?

So she just... ignored the construction sight, drove into it and almost killed herself? >_> and then blamed the workers? I hope she didn't win any claims! I suppose if it was difficult to see, then it would be forgivable, but if it wasn't, which I bet it was, then she had no right to complain.

Certain things change people - perhaps being in your line of work, things might not pan out the way you'd planned, but you've always got a choice, right? ;) that's what I don't get about some people. They say 'life has changed them' so they can't help but be racist, be antisocial (mannerisms) etc. but I've grown up in a pretty rough age, in a veery racist family, and I'm probably one of the most accepting people around :xp: of course, I can't accept thoughtless murders, but that's a whole new subject.

  22. Obviously, I have no problem with what you write/could write if the forums weren't strict. It is after all, just fiction, and if I want to continue reading it I will. :) but there's always one... or a hundred... who take that too far.

Wow, I want to know who got that instruction put on a chainsaw, too. :eyepop especially who tried to stop it with the last option in that list  either way, that guy probably regretted it. Some people just have no common sense. You wouldn't find me anywhere near a chainsaw, nevermind sticking my hand on the actual saw which was on!

And humans are supposed to be intelligent.... *sigh*

  23. Wow, someone did that? And she won her claim? That's actually quite funny lol she should've known it could have spilt.

I do suppose though, that if that rule went that it's 'your fault if you read it and get offended', then there'd be all sorts of horrible stuff posted in coruscant entertainment centre! And some people just like writing a big pointless killing spree, because they're... well... crazed.

  24. It's a pity the forum is so strict with things like this. Implications and cruel acts shouldn't even be bothered about, in fictions... I mean there's obviously some things that aren't allowed, but if the person chooses to read it, then it's their fault if they're offended. :^:

  25. I know! :D I'm playing DS female, now. Still on Telos with Czerka, buut I'm getting there.

No problem, and surely these chapters will be just as gory and shocking as the last chapters. ;)
