  1. If this game's marketing has taught me anything, it's that my guesses are VERY wrong. I was on the "it's an April Fools joke" side of the fence when Ron announced it on his blog. Anything can happen.
  2. I think we can be fairly certain that one of 2 things will happen at the end of all the Monkey Island Mondays: 1) We'll get a release date 2) The game will be out Of course, part of me is hoping they do, like, 5 MI Mondays instead of 10. I'm just dying to get into this thing!
  3. Clearly I forgot to broaden my definition of Mojo words again 👕 I beat #Mojole #114 and all I got was this stupid t-shirt. 5/6 🖤🖤💚🖤🖤 🖤🖤💚🖤🖤 🖤🖤💚💛🖤 🖤💚💚🖤🖤 💚💚💚💚💚 https://funzone.mixnmojo.com/Mojole/
  4. I think maps are a given at some point. A release date is definitely imminent. BIG yes to finding out who's voicing LeChuck (I read an article where the journalist just assumed that when Ron said they were recasting that Adam Harrington was back, but...please no. All due respect to the actor, he was fine, but you need someone more...Boen-y.) I might be a bit dense here, but what is FIGS? UI is also probable. We also don't know how many of these there'll be, will it be the predicted 10 that lead up to Talk Like a Pirate Day for release, or will it only be a few, like 4 for the month?
  5. I could've sworn the # didn't register as a correct letter if you got the wrong word on previous days... 👕 I beat #Mojole #113 and all I got was this stupid t-shirt. 4/6 🖤🖤🖤💛🖤 💚🖤🖤💛🖤 💚💛🖤💛💚 💚💚💚💚💚 https://funzone.mixnmojo.com/Mojole/
  6. Man...I wish. I can't afford an overseas trip atm and it falls right on my final assessment period for uni. I'm still bummed I didn't go to Pax Australia the one year Ron was there to give his speech.
  7. I'm so glad Ron's still talking about the game on Twitter. Still probably a good idea to avoid posting on his blog about it, but it's nice to see that he's not completely discouraged from sharing in general.
  8. I'm fine with carrots, it's the mayonnaise for me, too sweet. Though strangely, I'm fine with it in burgers. My tastebuds are whack.
  9. Yeah, I think the idea of #MonkeyIslandMonday is to share little teases of the game in varied forms, not just to show the chapter screens. In fact, I hope they don't reveal the others, because I like the surprise of discovering what they are while I'm playing. As cool as it was to speculate on what they meant with Tales, I think this time I'd like a little bit more mystery.
  10. Remi...you've broken me. I can't finish my guesses. THERE'S NO VOWELS!
  11. Oh yeah...we're close. I can feel it. Monkey Island Monday, woo! Great chapter screen, so glad they're keeping up the tradition. Interesting that the tune is different, not sure how I feel about that, it'll take some getting used to, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker by any means. I really like that dramatic zoom out at the beginning, really adds to it, I think.
  12. Another interesting detail I noticed today was that the table where the new pirate leaders are sat has another one of those voodoo symbols around it. Perhaps a protective enchantment? For what, that is the question. It seems that at least Guybrush can cross it, though maybe there's an early puzzle that involves making him invincible to its effects...unless of course it's only to ward off LeChuck or ghost pirates.
  13. It's so good! Once again, Dom continues to be a gem of a human being and yeah, it must be incredibly frustrating not to be able to share the juicy details, but I'm sure we'll all talk about it once it's out. I love the story about how Ron told him he was making a new one, I wouldn't have believed it either...I didn't on April 1st.
  14. Apropos of the new Mojo banner for the Ackley/Ahern interview, I feel I should confess something... ...I don't like slaw.
  15. I think they're reffering to this: At least that's the closest thing I can find that includes Guybrush and LeChuck on the plank of a ship.
  16. See what you're doing to our forum members Ron/Disney/Lucasfilm? We're all slowly losing out minds! Please release the game before our brains are too mushy to solve the puzzles! ...I'm excited 😜
  17. The brother thing is interesting, because back in the days of IRC chat on the SCUMM bar website, Ron implied that there was more to it than them just being straight up blood relatives. He said " In one sense, yes they are brothers, in another way, they are not." This could mean anything, really. Step-brothers is a popular theory, or they're part of a brotherhood of some kind but not family. It could also just mean they are connected by destiny somehow, LeChuck does say "we are bound to one another". Of course, the ending suggests it's completely literal, but that whole thing could still be an elaborate ruse to distract Guybrush. Man...it really is such a huge deal that this game will start right there in the amusement park and address what on earth was happening. I mean, if Curse is still canon that broader explanation that it's a spell will probably stick, but then it's Ron Gilbert, he's a twisty turny writer. Who knows what's really going on! Ok..we've theorised enough, Ron. You can release the game now
  18. Oh come on! 👕 I beat #Mojole #109 and all I got was this stupid t-shirt. 4/6 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 🖤💚🖤💚🖤 💛💚🖤🖤🖤 💚💚💚💚💚 https://funzone.mixnmojo.com/Mojole/
  19. Snow LeChuck was one of the first theories that came up when we first saw a screenshot of the courtroom. It could still happen, we don't know how much of the game the latest trailer actually showed, it could mostly be from at least chapter 2 (I'm guessing chapter 1 is all the carnival which we've seen nothing of). LeChuck is definitely doing some demonic things with the fire coming out of his eyes so other forms besides zombie certainly aren't off the table.
  20. I'm curious, what platform are you referring to that you hope they release it on? As for "they'd never" stuff? Hmm: Make you choose whether or not you want the secret revealed and then people who decided not to have to forever avoid discussion of the game online. Murray is a verb: not an inventory item, a verb. Whenever you want Guybrush to do something to an interactable he's morally opposed to, Murray it. Kill a major character permanently.
  21. Another tantalising Tweet about a bug: It made me realise: if this pertains to a scene with Guybrush Elaine, it will mark the first time they have ever kissed in the series. Maybe Elaine's line of "not here where everyone can see us" includes the player
  22. I never saw Murray as grumpy, more enthusiastic at the prospect of world domination yet frustrated at not quite reaching his goals, but not grumpy. Well, maybe a little in Escape, being a bouncer clearly took its toll on him.
  23. Wow, I didn't think of the revolution idea! That'd be neat!
