Mike Windu
Pixar/Disney fans I have horrible news... Disney did not sign a deal with Pixar for 5 more films... meaning NO more awesome movies like Toy Story, Monster's Inc, and No more FINDING NEMO!!!!!!! Damn you Disney! You stupid rich ceo people! Everyone boycott Disney movies until they buy back Pixar! (Pixar used to belong to Lucas, till he sold it, which is why I felt like posting it here!) ET Warrior
No way I'll boycott Disney. They gave me Pirates of the Caribbean and they're giving me Miracle on Friday.
Neverhoodian
It's possible that Pixar could become an independant film company and release movies on their own. Given their excellent track record, people would still line up in droves for their movies, even if it didn't have Disney's help.
BigTeddyPaul
Smart move on Pixar. Disney wanted something like 60% of the profits when all they did was provide their name and ability to distribute to the masses. That is a good deal for young companies who have the skill but not the funds to put their work out to the public (example Pixar 5+ years ago). Now though since they have created hit after hit and a lot of people know the name Pixar they decided they don't want to give up so much of their profits just to have the Disney label when they can sign with someone else for a third to a sixth of the price. Summary: Pixar will still exist and put out great works it just won't have the Disney name. BigTeddyPaul
Mike Windu
so Disney doesn't own the rights to finding nemo and toy story? HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope Pixar does become and independent film company though that would be awesomely extreme errr extremely awesome.
RoxStar
I doubt that we'll see any sequals to Toy Soty 1 & 2, Monsters inc, Finding Nemo or any other Disney Pixar films because Disney still has some part of the movies.

MennoniteHobbit
No way am I going to boycott Disney... but I do really hope Pixar will do well... the present Disney people are too greedy. [edit]Oh, I think that Miracle's going to be great... good story, anyway.
ExcelsioN
Haha Disney suck. ^Ok, perhaps not, but I think Pixar will do well, if not better, on their own. After all, they have a massive reputation. Disney only really helped them to earn money in their early years.
Thrackan Solo
I dont see why Disney would get rid of such a popular compnay (and profitable). I just hope they dont make a Lion King 3:rolleyes:
Neverhoodian
Ugh, I almost vomited when I watched Lion King 2. Yes, I had to watch it. It was back in Junior High. We watched it for English. My teacher was kind of a clueless dingbat.
Reaper Girl
When I read that Pixar was liberated, I danced. Viva la revolution!! :D Disney is a animation monoploy(sp?). This is the first step... PS argh...lion king 3? lion king 1 1/2 is out. Yuck. And it should be, technically, Lion King 1/3, me thinks...

The Seeker
I hope Pixar keeps making movies. Even if there is a slight hiatus though, they still have The Incredibles next year, which looks hilarious.
