monsoontide Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 HI All, Here's a couple of screens of the Biker Scout model & the Biker Scout Blaster* I've been working on. These are to complement the recently released Speeder Bike that Duncan_10158 and I did. Keshire has done some initial weighting on the player model and now Duncan_10158 is doing some more work on it (When/If he gets a chance in between the huge number of other projects he has going)!!!!! *Really hard to find DECENT reference pix of this. (Still have to do a player icon for him though.) Does he need a shader for his armour? Any decent screens of the gun would be very handy - especially BOTH sides of the gun. monsoontide Posted February 18, 2004 Author Share Posted February 18, 2004 OK Did team skins and a shader as well - same as Stormtrooper shader since I figure they use the same material for the armour! - It's a subtle effect though. I think that way it looks a little weird ... it may be authentic but it just doesn't look that good. The Skin itself rocks just those black parts bother me .. couldn't you give them a less dark black or add some wrinkles to the cloth? monsoontide Posted February 19, 2004 Author Share Posted February 19, 2004 Found some blueprints of the old Kenner toy!!! Pity I didn't have them when I was modeling the gun! Never mind. Well, the texturing is about 90% done. It's kinda hard since most of the detailing on the gun comes from its shape. There is very little detail on the actual surface of the model. So will get on to getting it in game this weekend some time. As far as the scout trooper skin and the black bits - in the movie you never really see any detail in those areas, so I've just kept them as fairly flat black.
