Which of these do you think was the best duel in Star Wars?

for emotion - luke vs vader in ROTJ

 

now obi-wan vs anakin is going to have both emotion and style... and my god its going to be great

I say the clone wars duel, i just saw the concluding duel just now on cartoonnetwork awesome.

Episode 5 had the best in my mind but episode 1 comes in as a close 2nd.

This is a hard choice. On another forum a 'multi-choice' option was given.

 

For me, in terms of grace and brilliance, it has to be TPM. But in terms of raw gut-wrenching emotion, it is RotJ, and for the true light against dark, new against old order, it is AotC.

 

Tough to choose.

 

I'm glad you added the one from the Clone Wars cartoons ... that was just fantastic.

Even in the little 'making of' clips they're putting out it looks brilliant ... gritty and intense.

yeah, well in terms of swordsmanship, of course the Ep1 duel, but each of teh other duels have something special about them, I live the ESB duel, very emotional and I love that cloud city weather station set....

The Episode I fight was the best,

most emotion, coolest moves, most intense.... the Episode II fights were too over the top, and was very unrealistic

and the others were to slow, but they were still cool.

I go for the Episode VI duel. The. Best. Duel. Ever.

For best acrobatics, I would have to say Episode I is the best, but as far as best overall saber duel is concerned, I would pick Episode V. I particularly like the suspenseful feeling one gets right before Luke and Vader have at it.
