Plewbert
Many Bond fans think Tarantino would do a great job making a film adaptation of Ian Fleming's book Casino Royale, he could do a great job of bringing back the suspense and realism that it should have. A petition has been made asking for them to allow Tarantino to make the film (Tarantino has already said he wants to do it and only needs $40,000,000) SIGN THE PETITION! http://www.petitiononline.com/bond0408/petition.html
The Cheat
I SIGNED IT:D Tarantino could seriously do so much to help the Bond series, and Brosnan really needs a good one to go out on. Heck they could make 2 at the same time, this one with Brosnan, and another one with the new Bond (Jackman!)

The_One
As much as I love Tarantino, and as much as I love Bond, I simply don't think Tarantino's style would suit a Bond film. Unless he is prepared to adapt his writing to fit the Bond template, I really don't think it would work. Then again, the last couple of Bond films have been utter ****e - in particular the last one, I don't think you could really do any worse. So, if he wants to do one, let him - it'd probably add a new dimension to the ageing series...

Alegis
the intro was the only really good thing in the last movie..rest was crap. Tarrantino is good, but i dont think he would be the right person to imitate the old slow bond movie style
ET Warrior
Meh. I'll let it run it's due course, they'll either let him do it or they won't, and an internet petition isn't going to sway them either way.

I don't think an internet petition would sway anybody for anything.
