I joined your party then left cause it was Rumble Pit and there were too many people in the party. I was just playing a Rumle Pit game. I won it by 3 kills. Unlike my other one where I won it by 7 kills. I had 25 kills 18 deaths, on Foundation. I had the shotgun most of the game. Cant post the results as they arent on the site yet.. That is probably cause I just got off playing it. EDIT: ckc whats your gamertag?

Mex Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 I agree these maps are just getting boring. On rumble pit its always the same three maps. Ivory Tower, Midship, and I forgot the other one. I gotta stop letting my friends have a go on Halo 2, they're making me look crap in my records. If they start losing they leave and get 15th or something. It was hilarious yesterday, I was doing slayer with my friend and he said "Dude, you're crap and you can't keep up" because I was in last, then I caught up and I was in the lead by 10 kills. Lets just say he shut up after that. XD
Rogue15 Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 u should beat your friends up when they quit....that'll drop your rank pretty fast. if they do that make em go in unranked matches. i HATE when people on my team quit. it is a little funny, but it gets old after a while. i beat Halo 2 on Easy....i played 2004-2005. XD

Though once in a Team Slayer game my team was getting owned. They all left except me and I got a friend from the other team cause I didnt quit. I ended up getting to 25 to 50. Me getting 10 kills.
Evil Dark Jedi Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Sorry about the double post but some of you may have noticed the Rumble Pit stats being reset. This is because of a glitch. Bungie is aware that rankings on Rumble Pit in Halo 2 were reset on January 1st. We can tell you this was an error and not a deliberate reset. However, we are still investigating the cause and possible solutions. We apologize for the inconvenience and irritation caused and we will make every effort to provide more data and explanation as we further investigate the problem. UPDATE: After a period of investigation, we’ve discovered what caused the rankings in the Rumble Pit matchmaking playlist to be reset on January 1st. We have isolated the problem and we can revert player rankings to the point before they were reset. After some discussion, we decided that this would benefit more players than it hurts, but rankings achieved since Jan 1 will be reset to either their status on December 31, or for brand new players, simply reset to level 1. This server update will take place at 2am PST tomorrow morning, in order to minimize disruption to the service. During this period, stats for those Rumble Pit matches will be unavailable. We realize this process will cause some aggravation – especially for players who’ve been working since Jan 1 to regain their ranking, but we feel far more players will benefit than suffer. For those who are annoyed, we genuinely apologize. Fixing the rankings should also alleviate the mismatches that inexperienced players have had to suffer through. Once again the Rumble pit stats have been updated but the Team Slayer stats have know been deleted. Will post more news as it comes.
Rogue15 Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 my head-to-head stats got wiped....team slayer stats remain how they were. i've been playing Big Team Battles lately cause they're not as repetatively boring as team slayer...and i like all the maps on the playlist.

Well I havent played head to head yet. And the stats are back up. I agree I have been playin big team battle alot. It seems funner than skirmish cause there is more people. BTW, I am a specialist at assult.

He might kill everyone on the map, but he still knows it's just a game. He knows how TERRIBLE I am at MP FPS games, yet he keeps playing anyways, doesn't insult me about it, and cracks jokes the whole time the same way I do. These are the type of people that make xbox live worth having.

swphreak Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Well, Phreak got occupied with other games instead of getting owned in Halo 2 multiplayer... coughBFMEKOTOR2cough. Besides, my free 2 month subscription ends soon (and classes start again). So I have to call it in and cancel. I did spend a few minutes downloading a bunch of content for sme of my games (MechAssault, Crimson Skies, KOTOR, ect) It was fun.
Rogue15 Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 i had a funny game tonight....my team was losing cause the other team was doing the warthog glitch on coagulation in ctf.....haha so i went to their base, 'jacked their warthog, and then one of them got in the gunner seat, so i said '**** it' and drove to my team's base, drove around trying to get my team's attention to kill the guy, they didn't, so i saw the other team managed to get the flag, so i picked him up and helped them win. it was funny as hell!
