OK here is an update to Revans mask. Im about 50% done the texture, But it's getting there. This is taking longer than I thought it would ;) But really this is my first ever detailed skin That is completely my work.

Im baseing my texture off of Biowares Texture I resized it considerably. Original Mask skin

Here is a Render of my texture 50 % done

:) and a tinymovie

Im open to all critisism or suggestions. I am trying to stay as true to the original as I can.

WOW! This really looks great! That is really one nice piece of work...you really have artistic talent t7  keep it up, many people have been waiting for this :)

Model looks great! The only thing that maybe I would change a bit is the red band on the side ways of the mask to make it look a little older like the red on the face of the mask but this is only my personal taste (and as you say you are not finished with the texture).

Ok a couple more Revan previews.

I am finnished my Revan Mask

I want to do another texture probably for the lightside but I'll give you guys this one first. but before I release it I want to show something else Im trying to work out.

There are 3 major problems with the hooded Reven Robe.

1. Clipping  clipping with the cape has been a major annoyance to many people. I spent many many hours trying to figure out how to apply a dangly mesh(flex modifier) to the Cape with undesired results So my solution was to hide the cape by adding the "Aurora trimesh" and unchecking render. Its not my first choice but it works. The other part of clipping Im working is where the head sometimes pokes out the side of the hood ans the belt in the front, I have made it better But it still needs tweaking.

2. Hand Conjure: Another problem has been that this model does not have the helpers required to make force powers like Force lighting come from the hand( from the feet wth) ;) . Well Im happy to say that is no longer the case :Dnow that looks good ;)

3.The last major problem with this model is again the helpers. this model only has the helpers it needed for that in0game cut scene. This is why the entire scene bounces all over the place while in combat. Im still working on this, But I think I can figure it out.

Wow T7, great work.

As far as the cape (clipping issue) goes, couldn't you just shorten it? You could give the ends a tattered appearance if a straight line wouldn't look right.

Either way, I can't wait for the final product!

Hey Darth_Tomer, previously T7 stated:

the pic just shows that T7 has fixed the prob (force effects coming through the hand...rather than the feet) ;)
