Oh and the PS2 version is on shelves already. *Prays to god* I hope they have it in tomorrow cause I come home from school and its on the table. Then I play all night.

Shooters, Sims, MMOs, Real Time Strategy: PC > Console RPGs, Racers, Sports, Platform/Action: Console > PC ----- It's a REALLY simple formula. Shooters will ALWAYS be better on the PC because of better control, more customization, patches, more players, ease of online play and more control options. I don't know WHY you heard the PC version of Battlefront is terrible, maybe your source is daft. I played the PS2 version for half an hour at work the other day, it's decent, but my PC copy at home outshines it by far.

But I can wait for the game, I will buy it friday, but I will be able to play it monday, because I'm on vacation this week-end, and don't have a pc there. And the other problem can be that my pc won't be able to play this game. So then I have to wait till next week, I hope it will be next week.
FpS_Vandal Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 He means (and has a point) that vehicles are probably easier to manuver on the consoles. This is true, but is not the whole game, I can attest from playing both that the diffrence ONLY comes into play with aircraft because the walkers and such are too slow to make much of a diffrence, plus aiming with them is much easier. Also the aircraft is easily controled on PC just not as easy on the consoles. Bear in mind however, on the consoles its more difficult to control EVERTYHING else.

PR-0927 Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 Damn, I can't play it yet...my graphics card doesn't work with it, it just loads the menu, then says no TnL found. Also, I shall be getting a new computer soon. It was scheduled to arrive in my Dad's lab today, yet the people over at I Buy Power got confused with the location, and the credit card location, so it'll probably be here in a week...they hadn't started making it yet. Then, my Dad has to install the drivers...ouch. Oh, and the 27th is my Birthday!! Oh, and I tried to go through the files to find out how to mod it (I mod JA), and I didn't understand what the heck a .lvl file was...I couldn't find any programs to open them either...
