Like I haven't said homophobic stuff in the past.

I don't care. Flame me as much you want, report my posts as much as you want, call me arrogant as much as you want, shun me as much as you want...

My views ain't changing.

EDIT:

I edited the post because I realised that it was out of line. However Acrylic didn't.

There is no reason for me to edit it.

Pal™ - You were an jackass and you've repented. Go you. You get a smack on the wrist :p

Acrylic - This newfound surge of angst you have lately is frankly starting to piss me off. Quit the **** or I'll end it myself.

Your first and last warning.

*reads thread*

Mosh...pit...at...Bowling...for...Soup..? Yep, I'm with Billy Corgan on this one. The mosh pits have become nothing more than a buzz phenomina and have to be forgotten.

I can imagine that pit - buncha 'punks' jumping around like rabid monkeys to 1985 and PunkRock101. Ugh.

Hehe, that flame war was funny though.

Best concert - KoRn

Shoulda seen the put when Blind started. THAT was a pit man. Took up the ENTIRE floor. It looked like a buncha beads of water gathering up into a huge puddle. Awesome.

So Bowling for Soup isn't worthy a moshpit, but Korn is?

Oh, that's rich :D

I'm going to go with Bongo on this one.

I've seen Bowling For Soup twice now at Oxford Zodiac and they've ruled both times :D Saw em at Reading last year too, but they weren't as good as at a small, very hot, very sweaty gig. B.

Where about in Oxford are you? I think I've heard of the Zodiac some place or another. :indif:

Lets see - Nu Metal hard rocking about hard-knock life and daddy being a sicko vs Her mom used to be cool when Madonna was cool...

...yea, you're right. What was I thinking?

Apperantly I forgot to mention that it was pathetic :o

I don't really like mudvayne, but I went with my friend to a concert of theirs and the moshpits there were freakin awsome. We went home bloody and bruised. We went in and everyone was kickin and punchin, yeah. It was fun. We beat the hell out of people.

If I had liked the music, it would have won my vote.

hehe, I seen Bongo's name as the latest poster and I thought 'Oh man, here it comes - STFU KAIN YOU ****ER YOUR MUSIC SUCKS'. Just because of what happened last time I stated my opinion(GTA thread). My apologies for having doubted you.

But I still think that it shouldn't have happened.

We are officially boycotting the mosh pit. You know something is done when you see it in a Budweiser commerical. You know something is over with when it appears in the latest Offspring video.

That was when Offspring was still Punk rock...so you get the idea.

BTW: How old are the members of BFS? They look like...40.

*scratches head in mock confusion*

tossers like Korn make money off ppl who buy their music for those reasons you just stated....the problem is, they now languish in mansions, while those ppl are still where they were before they started listening to them(and thus started being exploited by them)... Kurt Cobain realised this paradox,

"teenage angst has paid off well"

and promptly shot himself soon after....

Iron Maiden was the best non Metallica gig ive been to, their support act Funeral For A Friend was.........not

However said supporting gig from Funeral For A Friend is responsible for one of my favorite gig moments. Consider the scene, several young kids all there for Funeral For A Friend, about midway through their act the enourmous metal dudes start taking their positions for Maiden. I remember there was one such dude standing there watching Funeral For A Friend and not looking amused, then across the sea of 13 year olds came another of the Metal behemoths who upon seeing the first shouts, "Alright Steve!" the other hearing this sees him and shouts back, "Alright Dave, these are rather ****e arnt they?" the offended looks on all the Funeral For A Friend fans faces was priceless I just wish one of them had tried to say something about it :D

Motorhead come in third, im seein them again in Birmingham soon.

Other great live experiences include the grand bottling of The Rasmus (who lasted for less time than Daphne and Celeste) and 50 Cent (lasted 25 mins at most) at this years reading festival :D

Apparently you've never seen their homes:¬:

And JD writes about his life, not how everyone's life sucks. Some people can just relate to it.

I've intentionally stayed out of this flame-fest, because you know, the whole attitude of "my band kicks your bands ass" is retarded. But I just can't sit on the sidelines anymore.

ANYONE who takes their cues on what it means to sell out from Billy-multi platinum-TRL with Carson Daily-grammy award winning-Caseys Top Forty-Corgan is delusional. Period.

Just MHO.

[edit]oh yeah, to get back on topic, I've seen sevaral shows, so it's hard to pick just one. But I'm gonna go with Goatwhore. Just mostly because I got to meet them and what not. So yeah.

Hey I never said Corgan wasn't a egotistical piece of crap, but he made a valid point - when the pit starts getting used to sell BEER, then it has long been killed.
