UrchSr
Hey y'all... I'm having trouble sleeping tonight because my son is having surgery tomarrow. His name is Tommy Jr. and is 7 months old. I request that you all keep him in your thoughts and prayers as well as all the heartshis touched. I know it's a routine thing, but I'm welling up as I type this. It's the only thing that's been on my mind all day. Now that he and my wife are asleep, I can stop the tough guy optimistic act and really let it all out... I know you guys and gals don't know me from Sam, but I need some place to vent. Sorry if I bummed any one out. I'll post tomarrow night and tell you how it goes. Boba Rhett
My prayers will be with you, your family and your son, UrchSr. My Dad is about to have his third surgery within a month's time and I'm still worried about this third and hopefully final one but everything always goes fine. I'm sure little Tommy Jr. will be just dandy.
stingerhs
no problem. i can honestly say i know how ya feel because my older sister has had several surgeries. she always tells me that she'll be fine, and its 'only routine'. but as you've said, thats no consolation. may God be with your son and help guide the hands of his doctors. UrchSr
Thanks everybody for the support. Jr. is doing great. He slept nearly the entire day and just woke up smiling like nothing ever happened. He's not too fond of the wound care or his Medicine. I can't imagine wearing a cathider and two diapers, but he'll have to chill for nine more days. I'm glad to have a place to vent and I'm so thankful for all your thoughts and prayers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. I'll be praying for all of you and your families.
