Leper Messiah Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 alright everyone, hope all is well round here. I have returned from my christmas break from uni to my lovely internet-equipped room. My hometown of Dover is a dump as always, in fact its gone a bit futher down the tubes as a police attempt to crack down on under age drinking seems to have made it even more rife than it previously was. Ive got an absolute ton of work to do in my first week back at uni too cos i spent my christmas break working in my old job in a prison kitchen, which incidently is where i spent christmas day itself, great huh?
•-BLaCKouT-• Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Well helloooooooow! Glad you had... erm, a change It's good to get back to t'internet isn't it? B.
jon_hill987 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Ah, i wondered why there were less new stupid threads started of late... Welcome back.
--ZeeMan-- Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 o_O i thought there was no drinking age in europe...? welcome back btw
jon_hill987 Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 I't is 18 un the UK, I think it is around 14 in much of the rest of europe. so you get 12-17 year olds buying a bottle of white lightning (cider) from the local shop and drinking it in parks all across the UK

You have to be at least 16, and carrying ID in Denmark, to even buy a beer at the local super market. If you want to go to bars, clubs and whatnot, you have to be 18 and carrying ID. So its about the same as in the UK. Oh, and WB dude. -Clemme
