jon_hill987 Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 What? there are people that are gonna que up for a month and a bit? do thay not have jobs/school?
Mace Dogpoo Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Nerds are nerds are nerds! Ande therefore will do wot is neccesary to do nerdy things. Pretty funny video, nice link!
Derc Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Heaven forbid that they waste their time like that(at a wrong theater, that is ).
Spider AL Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 I have never queued for more than forty minutes at a time,.. in my life. And I'm proud of that fact.
El Sitherino Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 I heard about this earlier, and I'm wishing in had the little cue they had up on the daily show that said "Sith Happens".... damnit. >_<
LukeKatarn Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 I've been in Que for superman in a 6 flags for a long time, that's the longest I've been in a Que...
TK-8252 Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 I heard about that. But that video is from Attack of the Clones. Screw that Star Trek bastard. I'm gettin' me a Stormie suit.

I heard from Ripley's that two major SW nerds were 'camping' outside a theatre for a month or two, just to get the first tickets for Episode II.
*Yoinked* Posted April 11, 2005 Author Posted April 11, 2005 Yeah, I know, it is pretty scary, especially to this degree. Though does it really make a difference that this is from Episode II? Same thing. "F*ck lots and prosper!" is probably what that Trekky should have said...
toms Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Originally posted by Spider AL I have never queued for more than forty minutes at a time,.. in my life. And I'm proud of that fact. Neither had I, until i went to Alton Towers.... 1 Hour and 40 minutes to get on the Air ride... for a 50 second ride. Was a fun ride though.... I heard from Ripley's that two major SW nerds were 'camping' outside a theatre for a month or two, just to get the first tickets for Episode II. True, but to be fair to them they were doing it for chartity and as a record breaking attempt.... not just cos they were very sad.
swphreak Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 I saw this on my local news. I believe they're doing it in hopes of getting the theater to show Episode 3 like they got it to do for Episode 2. I also think there's some charity involved, can't remember.
tags Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 if they were at the wrong theater, they can't really be all that much of nerds. heh.......dungbells.......
jebbers Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 my bro had a Star Wars themed wedding reception...and thats about it...
Rogue15 Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I went to see Attack of the Clones the morning after the day it came out. the line wait was about 20 minutes. XD
ET Warrior Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Originally posted by jebbers my bro had a Star Wars themed wedding reception...and thats about it... I intend to have the minister marrying me append the "I now pronounce you man and wife" with "And may the Force be with you" And then Star Wars Theme song as we walk out I'm totally waiting in line for this movie for a minimum of 5 hours though \o/ I can't imagine standing in line for 7 weeks though....that's psychotic!
Mike Windu Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I just walked in to see ATOTC opening night, wasn't sold out or anything. Star Wars isn't popular here. We likes Barbershop and XXX. Barbershop is a funny movie.
