stingerhs Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 courtesy of Gamespot.com and howstuffworks.com: Important Safety Information A lightsaber is not a toy! Keep it out of reach of children at all times. Lightsaber locks are required in most states. There are two ends to any lightsaber -- one end has the belt ring, while the other end houses the blade arc tip and blade emitter. NEVER point the blade emitter of a lightsaber toward your own body. NEVER look down the "barrel" of a lightsaber, even if you are "sure" it is in safe mode. If you accidentally activate the lightsaber, serious injury could result. the rest of the article: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/lightsaber.htm
Derc Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 The big advantage of using a lightsaber, of course, is that you can both cut and toast the bagel in one stroke. Lighting a Cigarette Good find, stingerhs!
ChAiNz.2da Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005  * wonders if stingerhs noticed the "reheating coffee" use of a lightsaber *
Bob Lion54 Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 Great find stingerhs. I love the pic of the guy lighting the cigarette. Better than any lighter I have.

Emperor Devon Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 That was quite amusing. I liked all those photos about domestic uses for lightsabers. Good find, Mr. Moderator.
lukeskywalker1 Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Man, I got to check Ebay for some lightsabers now. Hot stuff.

I believe you can change the intensity of a sabre. You should be able to set it low enough so as not to burn the precious drink of life.
RaV™ Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Are these lightsabers actual ones that can sever body parts or was this made just for the kicks? Oh and Stinger thanks on finding this.

Oh and Stinger thanks on finding this. I made one. Be careful though, and read the warning carefully. I singed my eyebrows. (j.k.)
