ckcsaber
This is what I've been waiting for so long. My life as a fan may be short in comparison to others, but it has had a great impact on my actual life. Sad, some may say, but I am grateful. This movie series has meant so much to me (and still does), it is hard to describe in words. When the final shot of Revenge came across the screen I truly did cry. It wasn't out of sadness or joy. It was just the result of waiting so long. I found it hard not to cry when the Binary Sunset theme filled the theatre. It felt so...right. Everything fell into place. I don't know what the future holds for Star Wars, be it a mini-series or another trilogy or 3D versions of the movies, but to me I can finally rest easy. It has come full circle for me. The rumors I heard so long ago of a prequel trilogy have become a reality and I am beyond content. This was a great film, and I believe it to be on equal footing of the Originals. I feel truly lucky to have seen such a wonderful end to the journey that has been these six films.

It's not how good the bus is it's who is behind the wheel that counts and the guy driving Star Trek is drunk. A person can only drive so long before they finally have a wreck i.e. Enterprise. Berman drove Star Trek threw 13 school kids, a nun, and into a retirement home. If Star Trek still had Gene Roddenberry it would still have a safe driving record. Lettuce
Meh, the movie was ok. Defenitely alot better than the other two parts of the trilogy but it wasnt worth all the insane hype it got from critics.
Jeff
but it wasnt worth all the insane hype it got from critics. Yes it was. There were Five lightsaber battles, awesome special effects, a great story, average acting by some and great acting by others... What more could you want (besides great acting from everybody, not just some )?
Pho3nix
I shed a few tears when RotS ended too =) the Binary Sunset scene was just...perfect.
Lettuce
Yes it was. There were Five lightsaber battles, awesome special effects, a great story, average acting by some and great acting by others... What more could you want (besides great acting from everybody, not just some )? The lightsaber battles were cool, the special effects were also great. I thought the story was ok as well(it did have its problems). The dialouge was pretty bad throughout the entire movie especially the Padme&Anakin scenes. The acting wasnt that good either the dude that plays Anankin(cant remember his name) is a really bad actor and I felt his performance really hurt the movie. The chick who plays Padme (its 10am on a sunday cut me some slack) was just as bad. A few other things I didnt like were Chewbacca's meaningless apperance(hey everybody its chewie he doesnt really have a purpose but here he is). Anakin in the black robes. Just felt like Lucas wanted to make sure everybody knew who Darth Vader was while he was stilll in Jedi Mode . The dude that played Anakin is a really bad actor(yeah I know I mentioned it already but he was really bad). The 3 second Count Dooku fight (Grrr You going down je......*head go bye bye*). Lucas rejected my idea for a love scene between Master Lettuce Head of The order of Jedi Ass Woop and Jessica Alba.
Snafu7
I didn't think Hayden Christensen(you know that dude who played Anakin) did that bad of a job in this movie, of course that's because I'm comparing him to when he did episode two, where everything he said sounded retarded. Natalie Portman(You know, that one chick) didn't do that bad of a job either, though I do agree it was kinda pointless to put chewbacca in the movie. Lettuce
OY! Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman not sure how I managed to forgot her name. Yeah he did do a better job this time around but it was still a pretty lousy performance and I think the dialouge is what did Natalie Portman she had a lot of really bad lines. Lynk Former
Where would star wars be without Lucas? Star Wars has already gone many, many directions without Lucas. @ Lettuce: I think the bad acting fits, it goes along with the late 70s, early 80s acting that was done in the OT
Lord Bane
they'll probably make the nest 3 movies with the 3 kids of Leia and Han and Luke's Academy and the Emperor's return into one of his clones and Luke turning to the Darkside and leia rescueing him and a tri-duel between Palpy, Leia and Luke above the huge Ice mountains on Byss, then Luke returning to his Academy and the Ghost of Exar Kun training Kyp Durron in the ways of the Sith and stuff, really cool. Oh wait SPOILER!

Kurgan
5 Lightsaber battles is kind of misleading though... really only two of them were any good, the others were so short as to be forgettable. The final battle was probably the best in the entire series (even rivalling my former favorite, the TPM final battle), but the others were somewhat boring compared to what's come before. Yes ROTS was heavily hyped, it's not a flawless film, but definately a great action movie, probably the best of the prequels in terms of entertainment value, and possibly more entertaining than some of the original movies in terms of action (but not in terms of likable characters and humor that works). For those who dislike too much CGI, ROTS would have been a nightmare.

El Sitherino
RoTS actually had less CGI than AoTC. A lot of it was done with sets and miniatures.
