yeah, what is most awry about that post is that it stated bioware were developing it. KOTOR2 was handed out to Obsidian, and may most likely stay with them for a sequel... who knows

 

Actually, It's a good idea to give KotOR III to Bioware. They have the Unreal 3 Engine and I wanna see them sexy SW babes in that helluva engine.

Now, if you would just care to also hand me a system that will actually be able to play these 2 games, 'cuz I don't currently have one.

My 5-year old Dell Pentium III doesn't meet the specs, and I don't own an XBox.

An XBOX will only run you about $150 new, which is a bargain considering the price you would pay to upgrade Pentiums. I have KOTOR on both XBOX and PC, and I found the PC version to be kind of touchy depending on the graphic specs. It runs good on my desktop, but on my laptop? Forget it. I finally broke down and got the xbox version, but I have yet to play it myself. I hear it's pretty great, but I never have time to really sit down and play it. I didn't get KOTOR II, yet because I didn't finish the first one yet. So many games.....such little spare time....

If they didnt use the unreal engine so far in the series, itd be a bit strange if they implemented it now....

 

ah well, we'll just have to wait and see... hopefully kotor3, if ever released may have a decent multiplayer, which I'd never play because I have crappy dialup :p

Yeah, I know...

But I already have a Gamecube that I hardly ever play, as well as a stack of partially finished PC games. (The same spare-time dilemma.)

I'm afraid an Xbox will just become yet another dust collecting piece of consumer electronics around my house that I really don't have the room for.

 

If they really plummet in price once the X360 hits the market, I probably will pick one up.

 

I need a new PC (something that I do use each and every day) far more than one of them, though,.. and that's what I really should be saving my pennies for.

Can someone tell me the point of signing up to a forum just to make one bogus post? I seriously don't understand how this person gets enjoyment from this. Its not like he/she is profiting from it either. Its not even an ad. Some people......

Astro, Bioware got the engine after KotOR was made and are using it "For an untitled game".

I'm sure there WILL be a KOTOR 3 at some point though (or a similar game with a different name that is basically a sequel).

 

Must get around to Jade Empire as well...

I heard this rumor on Bioware. And one of the developers said it was false and they know how to spell mammoth correctly.

 

So sorry guys.

 

We er...deduced that about four months ago.
