CapNColostomy Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 This kid is amazing. Those of you who play guitar will dig this even if you don't like the music. http://browsermail.com/page.html?p=0000015Fu8vj7kXzcl2A+NgOsglburzIh74g
Tyrion Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Wow. He's awesome. His bends were great. What can I say, he's really good.
CapNColostomy Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 I can't do a bend.... Sure you can. It's one of the easiest things to do on a guitar! All you do is depress the desired string, and pull or "bend" the note while you pick it. Nothing to it. But, yeah. Best of luck doing some of the bends that guy's doing. At least while doing some of the **** he's doing.

It tends to go off the fretboard...
Mike Windu Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 zOMGWTF GYPSY JAZZ GUITAR?!?! That guy rocks. <--------(is about to begin the geetar)
Astrotoy7 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 If its who I think it is I think I might have seen him perform at a festival.... clicks linky, on 56k *results will be posted in 2008* EDIT: yes its him, I recognise the name...yeah - he's freakin awesome !!! mtfbwya

It tends to go off the fretboard... Trick of the trade Notice his top four string are nylon.. not steel.. they bend much easier..also, though risky... you actually bend the guitar's neck back slightly while pushing on the guitar's body towards the base of the bridge plate.. My teacher taught me this and it took me forever to become "comfortable" enough to actually attempt it. I kept thinking I was going to break the darn thing in two Gee-tarz are tougher than I thought .. hehehe.. This guy pwns though! Man, even his arpeggios are smooth... wow...
Pie™ Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Nice stuff... I'd try to find some streaming video of some of Alexi Laiho's work, but I'm too lazy.

ZBomber Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 ANGUS YOUNG FOR THE WIN! Intro to Thunderstruck anyone?
CapNColostomy Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 ANGUS YOUNG FOR THE WIN! Intro to Thunderstruck anyone? *POINTS AND LAUGHS* ummm...no. No.
Acrylic Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 ANGUS YOUNG FOR THE WIN! Intro to Thunderstruck anyone? Dude, I can do that with one hand. Actually, that's how you play it. Hammering on and off. It's so easy once you get the hang of it. Anyways, this guitarist is just amazing. Doesn't even miss a note. Okay, maybe one note, but wow. Beautiful.
ZBomber Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 "Dude, I can do that with one hand. " Not good though, I remember you tried to do it before.
Acrylic Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 "Dude, I can do that with one hand. " Not good though, I remember you tried to do it before. I don't practice it much though. If I practiced a bit more, I could do it just like Angus. If you compare the difficulty of what this guy is playing to Thunderstruck, you're crazy. I can't think of many people that could play what this guy is playing.
ZBomber Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 I'm not comparing them, I'm just saying Thunderstruck is hard to do. I haven't heard anyone that could play it good.
