lassev
Number 5 - Babylon 5. I wonder if the number in the name was the reason for this exact place... Well, the fact B5 is in the TOP5 gives a list all the credibility it needs.
Jeff
Voyager should not be on there. Voyager sucked ass, so did Andromeda. Yeah, I'm sure there was a show that wasn't on there that was better than voyager. At least it shouldn't have been so high on the list.
Tyrion
Chances are good that Serenity will do extremely well in theatres, and Fox will beg to bring it back into the lineup. Although I think that Sci-Fi channel will be the one with Firefly; they're still giving Joss a chance, what with all the ads and teasers for Serenity. But uh, Stargate SG-1 scored far too high on that list. Sure, the first five seasons were good...but now they're just adding new enemies for the hell of it. "Screw the Goul'ld, there were The Ancients before them!" and "Screw the Ancients, the Pyrors killed the bitches!"
ET Warrior
Howsabout the fact that Dark Angle is on that list. That show was so bad it gave me the herpes.
jon_hill987
WTF!?! No Farscape on the list? That show was better than so many of the shows on that list. even if it did have an anoying theme tune... And no Red Dwarf? what is that about? Also Star Trek: Enterprise, is way better than Voyager, posably even better than ST:TNG. Oh well, At least Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis got well desurved places in the list. lassev
Howsabout the fact that Dark Angle is on that list. That show was so bad it gave me the herpes. That's somewhat contradictory. If it was so bad, why would you have got so... uh... familiar with your TV that the herpes was transferred...

Coloradians have been known to get very familiar with inanimate objects, for no real reason. 'cause Satan is their father.
ET Warrior
That's somewhat contradictory. If it was so bad, why would you have got so... uh... familiar with your TV that the herpes was transferred...I believe taht was the point. The show was SO, SO bad, I didn't even have to TOUCH it to get herpes. I didn't even have to watch the entire episode, 3/4 of it was enough to nearly kill me. Bob Lion54
Voyager should not be on there. Voyager sucked ass, so did Andromeda. I liked Voyagers Finale. Other than that, it wasn't that great. Gave me my "Trek Fix" though. Of all the Treks, Voyager was probably the worst. I personally like DS9. I think more people would have but it didn't get a good time slot. It played at 11PM over here. I'm finally getting to watch it on Spike! I really like Babylon 5. Seasons 1-4 were great. It should have ended there. Straczynski wrote the first 4 seasons before they started season 1. Season 5 just didn't measure up....
Samuel Dravis
Meh. I really only liked a couple of Trek shows, and that's it. It seems to me that almost all scifi shows on TV are doomed to be horrible, most of them being physically painful to watch they're so bad.
El Sitherino
Star Trek: Enterprise, is way better than Voyager, posably even better than ST:TNG. Enterprise is the worst Trek show ever made. Possibly one of the worst (scripted) TV shows made, period.

Rogue Nine
Also Star Trek: Enterprise, is way better than Voyager, posably even better than ST:TNG. You, sir, require a severe blow to the head with a large, blunt object. ST:TNG > all. Enterprise is the worst Trek show ever made. Possibly one of the worst (scripted) TV shows made, period. Word. El Sitherino
Enterprise was comparable to watching a very obese man consume laxatives then spend 8 hours releasing waste.

lassev
I think Enterprise was very entertaining. And it had many aspects that made it better than the previous Treks. Things like realism. For example the battle tactics and skills of ground troops (those spec ops they carried with them). That group could have captured ST:TNG Enterprise singlehandedly. As a person with military training, their action wasn't painful to look at, as opposed to the ridiculous "action" in all the older ST series. Perhaps Enterprise wasn't as shiny and naive as the older ST series, but it kind of reminded me of B5, and that's a huge compliment.
Katarn07
OK, here's me to the rescue to clear up this Trek mess. Yes, TNG > all other Trek. TOS is great too, but it lacked the characters and stuff TNG had and didn't last as long and most of the movies sucked in my book so it loses points and comes in second. Enterprise isn't a pile of ****. If you stuck it through and made it through the complete series, you'd probably agree it was ok. I for one loved it. Lassev got it right with the realism thing. Also, the third season with the Xindi plot was TV at its best. The Temperol Cold War with Silik and Daniels was interesting too. Voyager wasn't great, but it too didn't suck. I don't think it should have been as high as it was though. I liked most of the characters, and some of the episodes were amazing. Other than that it was so so. DS9? WGN aired that here and they suck; moving it from one timeslot to another. Never got into it. Didn't get a chance to know the characters or get the Bajoran/ Cardassian plot much. Love Worf and O'Brien just because they came on over from TNG. Flash Gordon being on there is a great choice. While lousy to watch today for most people my age, I for one love it and am thankful George was clever enough to rip it off along with other stuff to make Star Wars
El Sitherino
Yes, but realism can only get you so far. Crappy stories and bad acting, in the end, made the series suck. Voyager was horrid, stories were crap, design was crap, pretty much everything about it sucked. DS9 was bad as well.

access_flux
i agree, i can't believe they didn't even mention Red Dwarf. but the new battle star episodes so deserved that high spot. the last episode of season two! omg! i don't want to have to wait till january Enterprise is the worst Trek show ever made. Possibly one of the worst (scripted) TV shows made, period. i mean with a theme song as bad as what it had, i am really inclined to agree. PS. Prime congrats on 6666 posts
