Tysyacha nodded. "I am as well. However, it's good to see that both of us

are still alive! We need all the help we can get in order to stop the Nihilites,

and if family members are involved, that will help us to fight all the more to

stop them." She gazed at Elron curiously. "I'm surprised the BC let us stay."

Her face was pained. "As far as I know, I'm trying not to fall to the Dark Side.

I am not one of the Sith, or worse, the Nihilites, right now. However, why is

the BC still suspicious of me? I'm thousands of years removed from my ancestors,

Dark Lord Elron and the Jedi Exile, Tysyacha Dvukhsotnaya. Even though I was

named for her, I am not her and cannot be her. Each being only lives twice--

here in the flesh, and then in the Force. Can they not see past my bloodline?"

The Fable took off, heading to one of the planet's moons. They landed.

"All right, here's where the exchange is supposed to happen. Look sharp everyone, it's not too late to get busted. " Said the Captain.

Cuth approached the captain. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"Trap?" Asked Reynolds

"I....I don't know, it's not clear."

Reynolds sighed. Not again. He called the others on his comlink

"Kayla, Burne, keep the ship running, we may need to get out of here soon."

He nodded to Orlov. "Get the goods." Orlov grabbed the container, dragged it out of the smugglers hold and put it in clear view of the cargo hold.

While they were doing that, another ship landed. Three men stepped out. One of them approached.

"You guys got the goods. How'd you do it so fast?"

The captain shrugged. "We're good."

The man raised his eyebrows. "Where were you."

Orlov had his hand on his gun. "None of your business I believe."

"Well, sadly, part of my job is finding out." Said the man, the other two men had already drawn their blasters. Orlov, Cuth, and the captain all drew their guns.

"I believe we have a misunderstaing here." Said the Captain calmly. "You ask for help, we do the job, we deliver, we get paid. It's that simple."

One of the men stepped forward, hoping to look menacing, Orlov shot him in the chest, him. He aimed the gun at the leader.

"Now, let's do some simple math here. 3 Versus 2. That does not include my pilot. Now, you can pay us, or you can die. You decide."

The leader smiled. "All we want is the ."

"What ?" Asked Reynolds.

The leader smiled "Don't play stupid with me, the you picked up on Kalahan! I know she's onboard. Now, we can do this the easy way, you turn her over, or we can do this the hard way: We kill you, and take this ship apart" He paused. "This is a Serene class ship, it won't be easy, but I assure you, we'll find her."

Reynolds frowned. Boy was that popular. "We're not giving her over."

The leader sighed. "If that's your decision, let it be. Now, I have some things to do. " The leader began walking out of the ship, three more soldiers entered the ship.

One of the soldiers shook his head.

"You people are morons. Choosing a stranger over your own lives."

Suddenly another voice spoke. "What's going on here?" Said Kayla, worried. One of the soldiers whirled around, mistaking Kayla for another target.

"NO!" Yelled Reynolds, but it was too late, the soldier had pulled the trigger, and Kayla fell to the ground. Orlov immediately shot that soldier, Reynolds shot another one and Cuth threw the container at the last two. They quickly ran to Kayla. Reynolds examined the wound. The soldier had hit her on the side of her stomach. She had fallen unconcious

"It grazed her. She's badly burned, get her to the infirmary." Orlov and Cuth carried Kayla to the infirmary, Reynolds ran up to the pit.

"Kayla's been shot." He informed Burne.

"WHAT?!"

"We have to get her to Yavin. Closest place with decent doctors. Or healers."

Burne was still gaping.

"What the hell are you waiting for?! GET US OVER THERE!" Yelled Reynolds

He quickly called the academy. He told the person who answered.

"Tell Alyssa that Kayla from the Fable has been shot. We're coming in and we're coming in hot. We need healers ASAP!"

He cut the connection before a reply could come. He turned to Burne.

"How soon can we get to the academy?"

"An hour, at least."

"Get us there faster."

"The hyperdrive may not take-"

"I'm sorry, did it seem like a suggestion to you? It's an order, get us there as fast as you can."

Reynolds left the pit and headed down to the infirmary. In the war Orlov had gotten a little experience as a battlefield medic.

"How's she doing?"

"We've stopped the bleeding, and taken care of the burn wound but.....she won't make it if she doesn't get medical attention soon."

Reynolds sighed and sat down, his hands in his face. The mechanic was supposed to be the last person to get shot. It should've been him.

"Hold on Kayla." He said. "We still need you to keep this junkpile flying."

((And yes, I wrote a long post, try not to faint))

"They cannot and they never will," Alyssa answered, approaching the siblings. "It is the reason I too have not gained their respect."

She turned to look out a window before continuing her story. "My great-grandparents were divided when it came to the Force. The Renolins were Dark Jedi; the Tamberts were Jedi. When Fal Renolin, a young Dark Jedi apprentice wanted to marry Leanna Tambert, a Jedi apprentice, the match was frowned upon by both sides, but the two married anyway. Fal left the Sith and Leanna left the Jedi. Their son, Coyt joined the ranks of Dark Jedi, but left when he met my grandmother Bela Fotan, a Jedi who had just gained Knighthood."

She turned to face them. "They had my father, Jisem and he hid his Force sensitivity to avoid being captured and killed by the Emperor. Seeing how evil the Emperor was, Jisem Renolin made up his mind to join the Jedi... if any still existed. He found Caitlin Bryce, Erica West, and Nadira DelCarr. They started his training. But then he took a temporary break in his training... to marry Gina Hent."

"The point of this long and seemingly pointless history is this:" Alyssa finished. "When the New Jedi Order was created and the Council brought into being, what is now known as the BC objected to the lineage of my parents. There was too much crossing of Jedi and Dark Jedi. When my parents and elder brother were killed, the BC threw a fit at my being accepted for training."

"Why do they allow you to stay?" she asked rhetorically. "They allow you to stay because they fear the Sith Hunters far more than they could ever fear either of you." She chuckled. "Hell, they probably fear me more than they fear you."

Suddenly, they were interrupted by a young Jedi apprentice who ran up to Alyssa. He bowed.

"A ship called the Fable contacted us and said to tell you that a young woman named Kayla has been shot," he said. The color went out of Alyssa's face.

"Are they coming here?" she demanded. The boy nodded and Alyssa turned to Tysyacha and Elron. "Excuse me..."

She hurried off to the hangar bay to await the coming of the Fable.

Gus awakened as the dream of Kailtyn faded. Kaitlyn. He rname was too painful to mention. If only he knew waht happened to his grilfriend... after the Phantom wars she just... dissapeared, aslong with Jax and Stu... He pondered about her for a moment and then ignited his blue lightsaber as his Master approached. a Female twilek. Her yellow lightsaber lit up his darkened room. "Awwwww..... Go away! It's like... 10 in the morning!"

"No, Come young padawan, you have dueling class now."

"I can duel perfectly fine, wanna see!?"

"Padawan, seddle!"

"I'LL SEDDLE YOU!"

"PADAWAN, QUIET DOWN!"

"NO!"

Gus's lightsaber came up to his eye level and he slashed at Aleema. His master's saber blocked it in a flash of gold. She Force Pushed him into a wall.

"We have gone through this every morning, young master." She said as they slowly walked through the halls. "But... It's... I..." Gus's hand came up to his shoulder in embarresment. He was only 14 and he had fallen in love... "Is there something wrong?"

"No"

"Good, here's room 573. Dueling class."

He walked in and sat in a circle of other Jedi. He started to meditae as the dream filled his head again.

…Ben was thinking of all the things that happened recently, first there is :Tysyacha, when she is around I feel…drunk and weak…like i am is not the original Ben, how would a mere woman do the things that even the cruelest wars couldn’t do to me, and second there is the new upcomer: Elron, this man is the darkness itself, I wonder how the Jedi or the sith hunters couldn’t notice this…bad very bad things will happened if this dark man could convince Tysyacha to join him to the path of darkness…

Ben arises and said: "as the counsel had accepted the presence of Tysyacha, I believe that she must has her own master not learn the way of the force with a lot of students…"

"Why?" master Katarn said

"She is the descendant of The Exile, and we all know the gift of creating bonds that the exile had, so she might has this gift too, and that is dangerous, especially if she took a familiar path"

"Are you referring to the possibility of her choosing the darkside.." asked Master Luke

"It’s a possibility, right now she seems to be a lightsider, she is good and meant no harm, but nobody knows what will happen next…I'm just saying that we must be aware of this possibility…"

He paced around in circles then he turned to face the counsel

"I will be ready to train her and I am ready to bear the consequences of this task, offcousre after having the counsel agreement"

Gus looked around. He was standing in the middle of some sort of Combat Arena... It was dimly lit only by the lights on the floor. No one was around him... silence. "Young Jedi..." Gus heard a voice calling his name. "Gus.... Gus.... Help Gus.... Help..." Three sith assassins uncloaked themselves infront of him and ignited their lightsabers. Five bright red lights lit the room even more. One Sith Assassiin had a double saber, one had duel sabers, and one had a long saber, it's blade was much longer than the others. They all attacked him in unison. Gus immediatly knew what to do. His instinct forced him to use.... it. It was the one power he knew would cause his fall... His hands glowed dark red and he pushed them out to his side. All three assassins stopped in midair and the sound of cracking bones filled the room. In ablink, they were all dead on the floor. The big, stone door on the other side of the room opened and out stepped... Kait. She smiled and laughed evily. He yellow lightsaber filled the room witrh a new, luminescent light and she ran up to Gus. she was about to attack when Gus swiftly sliced her on two. she screamed and fell to the floor. Gus knelt over her, weeping... "No! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The red tears burnt holes in the floor and the arena collapsed and fell into a black void in space...

"AHHHH!" Gus woke up screaming. He was sweating and the whole class looked at him funny. Master Yunning spole up. "Gus, are you all right?"

"Yes... I'm... I'm... fine..."

"Ok class, find a sparring partner!"

as usual, no one wanted to be Gus's partner... as usual, they all remembered how strong he was. Usually anyone who sparred with him ended up having to go to the Medical chambers.

"You'll be my partner, Gus."

"Yes, Master."

"This is a discussion for the Original Council," one of the BC members said disgustedly. "I feel they already know our feelings on the subject."

The BC rose as one and filed out of the room.

"You need to learn to better mask your feelings, young man," Erica chided softly. "Your Force presence had something like the consistency of a sponge while she was in here."

"Besides this, I sense your own struggle with Light and Dark," Caitlin agreed. "I am not sure your offer is wise."

"You are strong in the Force," Nadira said. "You have been granted the level of Jedi Knight. But I think your choice of apprentice could lead you both away from the Jedi."

"Especially with the BC being the loudest shouters of the New Jedi Order," Caitlin agreed. "They forbid love as the Old Order did."

"I suggest Alyssa Renolin as the girl's Master," Erica suggested. "When she was in here today, I sensed that she is taking a step toward the Light. Aggressive feelings were not rolling off her as strong as they used to."

"Having gone through most of the struggle already, Alyssa could give the girl proper training," Caitlin agreed. She turned to Ben. "Perhaps it is more your lot to spend time with the girl's brother. If he has any struggles such as what you have dealt with in the way of the Light and Dark, perhaps you can aid him in discovering his way."

"This is not to say that you cannot be attracted to Tysyacha," Erica reminded him. "I simply know what love has done to Jedi under the leadership of a council like the BC. I don't want that for the two of you."

…a slight smile appeared on Ben's face

"Love you say!!… excuse me master Erica but your words of wisdom seemed to be as wrong as its honesty….what I feel for Tysyacha is not love….its another thing...fear perhaps…"

he let out a sigh then he continued

"Alyssa is good…but she cant train her for a simple reason; she is finding herself too, thus the possibility of the two of them falling dark is more than mine…for me; there is a struggle inside of me,yes but its not between dark and light…I've been trained well to control my feelings and as for now I've succeeded in that…."

Then he sat on his chair, his eyes focused on Erica

"if you agreed on Alyssa then I am with you, but Elron…I cant train him…"

Ben silenced and put his hand on his cheek, he had a lot to reveal but its not the time, the war made him think as a leader not just as a Jedi knight, he was both wise and strong and he knew that he must not reveal all what dwells in his mind…

((and stop reading my mind wildjedi :) …))

The Fable soon exited hyperspace almost inside Yavin IV. It's engines were smoking, Burne had pushed them as far as they could go without exploding. The ship quickly landed haphazardly, not even making sure that the space was empty. The ramp descended and the crew carried Kayla out.

"GET SOME HEALERS OVER HERE!" Yelled the captain.

"I will admit then our true reasons for Alyssa as the choice for Tysyacha's master," Caitlin said quietly. "Tysyacha is eager to learn the ways of the Force and her innocence makes her curious to right and wrong. To truly gain control over her struggle, Alyssa needs someone like this. It is why Riebe took her as her apprentice. Now that Alyssa has had as much training as Riebe is willing to give, Alyssa needs a reason to choose the Light. If she has an apprentice who is eager to understand the Light and understands the twistedness of the Dark, she has a better chance of making the right choice."

-------------------------

Alyssa rushed to Kayla's side immediately and eyed the injury. "Put her down here... I don't know if she'd make it to the healers..." She unclasped her cloak and let it fall behind her and knelt next to Kayla.

"I will do what I can," she murmured. As she began using the healing skills she'd learned, Alyssa sent out an urgent call through the Force to the healers. She would do what she could, but they would still be needed.

Tysyacha strode up to Alyssa. "If you will have me as a Padawan,

I will gladly accept you as Master. I don't presume to be so arrogant

as to believe I'll never fall to the Dark Side. Isn't that the first step--

thinking you are infallible and will never be legitimately tempted?

I know that there are desires within me that would not be fully

considered "right" by the BC--such as the desire to fall in love.

"However, I know that Master Luke Skywalker married Mara Jade,

and together they had Ben. Emotional attachments no longer hold

the stigma they once did in the Jedi Order if this is true. How can

I convince the older Council that I am no Sith, or at least not yet?"

((Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted for a while. Computer trouble:D))

Elron came rushing over to where Alyssa stood bent over Kayla. As he saw the wound in the girl's side, he swore.

"How could you let this happen??" he yelled at the Captain and Orlov. "Idiots! Fools! I should have known something like this would have happened if I let her go with you incompitent gang of space rats!"

His rage given a quick outlet, he quickly surpressed and controled his feelings.

He turned to Alyssa, "How is she?"

When Elron turned away, Orlov punched him hard enough to knock him over.

"Guess what? This happened to her because of you and your cousin!"

"Orlov! Calm down" Said the captain, then he turned to Elron. "He's right. Somebody's after Tysyacha. And whoever he is, he's got some influence behind him. "

…after hearing Caitlin's words, Ben smiled and nodded his head

"All right then… I have to agree with you about Alyssa" he said quietly

"She might be a better mentor for Tysyacha…now, what's the counsel's next step against these Nihilets?"

"That depends on their place" said Master Luke

"You, Tysyacha, Alyssa and Elron will be key figures in this war…after some time the four of you shall be sent to search for them…" said Katarn

Master Luke then responded "That if they didn’t find us first"

"Then this session of Council is over," Caitlin said with a small nod. Caitlin, Erica, and Nadira stood and made their way out of the room.

--------------------------

"If you're going to argue, take it elsewhere," Alyssa snapped. "It's not helping her level of calm or my concentration."

Three Jedi healers hurried up to the group. "Step away Alyssa. You've done what you can. It's our turn now."

Alyssa nodded and stood. Turning to the group, she said, "She'll be fine. Let the healers do their work."

With that, she turned to leave. After this, she'd need a little time alone to sort things out in her head.

"I have no idea, but they knew we found her." Answered the captain.

Kayla stirred.

"Wha-where am I?"

Reynolds quickly went to her side.

"We're on Yavin IV. How do you feel?"

"I can't feel my stomach."

"Don't worry about it, the healers are going to take care of you. You're gonna be all right."

One healer lightly tapped Reynolds on his arm.

"It's better if she rests right now."

"All right." He turned back to Kayla. "Don't worry, you're going to be fine."

He stepped back again, suddenly Burne came out of the ship running, his weapon in hand.

"Captain! The two guys Cu-I mean, Vales hit with the crate are still alive!"

"What happened?"

"They tried to attack me, I knocked them out. I put them in the smuggler's hold"

Reynolds thought about it for a second. The smuggler's hold would get very hot, especially in a tropic enviroment such as this.

"Good." He turned to Orlov and Elron. "You two need to put aside your differences. We need to find out who the hell sent those two."

Elron cast a glance over the near-asleep Kayla and turned to Orlov.

"He's right..." Elron was able to get out through gritted teeth. He forced himself to overcome his grudge against the man. At least for the moment. "We have to work together if we are going to find out who did this and why." he held out his hand to the crewmember. "So what do you say? Partners?"

Elron and Orlov shook. Whether or not either of them wanted to, they would have to work together. At least until those who were searching out Tysyacha and himself were found.

Kayla stirred once again, however did not fully wake. Elron could sense her unease and pain. He reached out to her, but Orlov grabbed his wrist, giving him a dark look. Elron wrenched his arm away and placed it softly on Kayla's hot brow.

Relax, you are safe now.

He did what he could to calm her, easing some of her pain before turning back to Orlov and the captain.

"You mentioned that you had captured a few of these men. Show me."
