Det. Bart Lasiter
Took me a while to figure out how to take screenshots in cube mode. If anyone using ALGLX/XGL with Compiz or whatever wants to (and has gnome-screenshot installed): gnome-screenshot delay=x Then rotate and hold. BongoBob
I wondered about that when I had XGL/Compiz installed. Too bad it doesn't work with twinview.

Mex
Only had Ubuntu since... Two days ago. Am doing rather well so far. If anyone can PM me with a list of some essential programs and what-not, I'd appreciate it. Also I have that Terminal icon that big because it's so-friggin-important. But thats in a good way of course. [Oops, left the website where I got the wallpaper from. It was blank so I stuck one on quickly. ]
Jeff
If you get Automatix it will install most essential programs automatically for you.
BongoBob
If you get Automatix it will install most essential programs automatically for you. Quoted for emphasis. The first time I used Ubuntu, I didn't know about Automatix, and spent about 2 days finding out what all In needed to get and install and whatnot. Automatix does it in less than half an hour on my net connection
